Eating clean
September 23, 2009The orb you see on my profile picture photo is actually my halo. Yip, I haven’t eaten any crap now for days and I tell you it’s hard work. My girlfriend came over and sat at my table, telling me all about her lousy boyfriend and what she’s going to do to him, whilst munching on shortcake. I sat there, composed, just sipping on my tea and my mind wandered a bit then just focused in on that biscuit. Oh boy did I want one….so very badly, but will power prevailed, hooray! Another small daily triumph. Making the correct food choices doesn’t come naturally to most of us and I keep telling myself 80/20, 80/20… that is 80 percent in the kitchen 20 percent in the gym…that’s what makes a good body, not falling into temptation. What is the point of doing all that hard work and going and burying your head in a McDonalds bag…DONT DO IT!!
Happy to have completed my workout today, legs, and on a new schedule trying to get a bit more definition in the thighs and wake them up a bit…it goes something like this….squats - first 2 weeks 10 sets of 10 reps, second 2 weeks increase weight and 9 sets of 9, third 2 weeks add more weight and 8 sets of 8 and so on down to 4 sets super heavy 4 reps. Added in leg extentions etc., and went home feeling a distinct comfortable warm burning sensation that comes from a good work out, and a job well done.
