Muscle Breakdown

****ght here it is.  I recently entered my first fitness competition and placed first.  I know that is just awesome.  But I am still new to all of this.  I competed in fitness model catergory and I want to stay in that range.  I do not want to do body building or figure.  well just about every tom dick and harry is trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't do.  From all my research I think I have enough to know what kind of work outs work for me.  But here is my question.  I am a spin instructor and like to participate in other high intensity sports.  People are telling me i will not put any muscle on if I keep up with my sports.  Is this really true.  I mean if I eat enough calories. have adequate rest and then shouldnt doing my sports build muscle with explosive movements and help keep me lean?  Am I wrong or is this jerk wrong hahaha be honest will not be offeneded

SAF October 29th

Well on a spur of the moment descision I have decided to sign up for the Serious about Fitness model competition in Ottawa on October 29th.  Time to seriously clean my eating and hit the gym hard!  So excited.  Want to learn new exercises! Does anyone know its its better to do less reps with more weight for muscle gain and defining?
