I have found a few good websites out there to purchase pro competition level posing suits, but I thought I would see if anyone else knew of some good websites to purchase custom, new or used pro figure competition one piece and two piece suits at a good price. I am planning on going down the road to getting my pro card in 2010 and I want to step it up with my posing suits. They can get expensive so I wanted to find a good deal on a few.
If anyone has any information or knows someone that might be selling a pro-comp posing suit, one piece or two piece let me know. The problem I run into a lot is I am 5?10 and about 138 to 142 when I compete and there are not a whole lot of women out there in figure that are that tall. Any information my BodySpace friends have for me would be appreciated.
Thanks-Michelle

I think it is kind of interesting that there is a holiday, well a whole day based around giving thanks. I try to give thanks everyday for all the blessings in my life. When you have an attitude of grattitude for all the things in your life, more good things will continue to happen. No one knows if tomorrow is guaranteed, so take advantage of what you have and what you can do now, right now! Be greatful for the family and friends you have in your life. Be thankful that you have your health, that you can get up and move, that you can dream and pursue your dreams and that you can start making the changes you want to see in your life right now. You create your own reality so start creating the reality you want to have. Dream big, why not…it is FREE!
Happy Thanksgiving! Michelle

Has anyone noticed that as the holidays get closer less and less people are in the gym? Then as soon as Jan. 1st hits the gym gets packed again…New Years resolutions time! I hope that everyone who reads this makes the commitment to start right now, not tomorrow, not next Monday, not after the holidays, right now is the only time you have.
You never know what the future holds for you so stop making excuses and start making the changes you want to see in your life today! If not or you think I am wrong then Happy New Years resolutions and we will see if you are still in the gym working towards your goals this time next year.
The time is NOW-Michelle

If you ever feel depressed, sad, fearful, unmotivated, sick or just can’t seem to find the belief in yourself, give this positive affirmation a try. Say it out loud while looking at yourself in the mirror. Practice it like you do reps in the gym and see if you start to feel better and if you are able to find the inspiration you need to get up, stop making excuses and become who you are meant to be.
"In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete. Each one of us, myself included, experiences the richness and fullness of life in ways that are meaningful to us. I now look at the past with love and choose to learn from my old experiences. There is no right or wrong, nor good or bad. The past is over and done. There is only the experience of the moment. I love myself for bringing myself through this past into this present moment. I share what and who I am, for I know we are all one in Spiriit. All is well in my world."-Louise L. Hay

I know it is easier said than done, but really think about it. What good does doubting yourself ever do for you? The answer is nothing! You have to believe in yourself to make change and to accomplish what you want in life. Comparisons to others will never serve you. You can not be like anyone else you can only be the best you, you can be. Tomorrow is not guaranteed so the only time you have is now, right now. So what are you waiting for? Do not doubt, believe in yourself, because if you don’t no one else will and start to create and accomplish all the goals and dreams you have for your life!

"If you don’t know you can’t, you can…If you don’t know you can, you can’t!"-The Missing Secret
You have to think more about what you want, than what is right now in this moment. If you can not get past what is, you will never have what you want.
Change your mind and the way you think and you CAN change your life! Champions are made from the inside out!

I am taking today off to rest! My body is so sore from hitting it hard and heavy the past three days and I need to recover so I can start again tomorrow. On Thursday I worked chest, bi’s and tri’s, on Friday I worked legs with my trainer (it is pretty bad when my legs start to shake during the workout) and on Saturday I went to kickboxing, then worked my back and shoulders with Jenheald. "The body doesn’t grow in the gym, the body grows while we rest and the gym is where we tear down the muscles."
I think I have figured out when my next competition in 2010 is going to be, I will keep you all informed once I have set the date!
I hope eveyone on BodySpace is doing well and please vote for me to be the 2010 BodySpace Spokesmodel at http://www.bodybuilding.com/2010-bodyspace-spokesmodel-search-women.htm. Thanks for your support!

I love to talk about health and fitness all day, every day and I am more than happy to answer any questions people may have. I am not an expert by any means, but I have been working out on and off for 10 years, I have worked with many different personal trainers over the years, I have worked at the front desk of a gym for 2 years, I have earned my personal training certification through NASM back in 2002 and I have competed in figure competitions so I do have some experience.
The problem that I have is when people ask me questions, I give them tips and advice and then they do not follow it, but that is not what even really bothers me because we all create our own reality so if they don’t want to take my advice to change their life then the only person it really affects is them.
What really gets to me is when people ask me questions and I answer them and then they turn around and question my advice like they do not believe me or they think that it is wrong! I am nice so I try to reassure them when I am 100% about something or I will tell them to research it themselves to find out more information, but what I really want to say is "IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO SECOND GUESS MY ANSWERS THEN DON’T ASK ME THE QUESTION IN THE FIRST PLACE!" Wow, I feel better!
