My name is Mike, and I’m an “IRON-Oholic”
Ok boys and girls,
I most certainly have been bitten by the bug of sweat, caluses, and tired muscles at the end of the day, but to think my body is starting to look better than back in the days of swimming lap after endless lap in the pool 10 months out of the year, that was 25 years ago, I’m stronger, healthier, and I feel freaking awesome, that alone is worth the price of admission!
I feel like I"m just starting to get a good base line of exercises in my routine, and yes I have to make sure that I don’t just gravitate to the ones that I like the most. I have the getting my ass there down! My daytimer is blocked from 12p-2p M, W, Th, & F and Sunday after church! I have to figure out how to keep my fire stoked and not get burned out or bored. Don’t have a "workout" buddy, there are a couple of MSU Chicks that I’d be their buddy, hell I"d even let them call me "Daddy".
Tell you what, finding this website was a godsend for me, I’ve learned so much, and forgot about 2X as much as I"ve learned, I"m getting there…maybe just maybe on the Cruise in May…I may just be in better shape for my wife’s "dining and dancing Pleasure" not to mention, have her be proud of me.
Enjoying every day that I get up and either add a set, plate or even a couple of meger reps to a set! Even the days that I don’t go up and remain flat, I still think that I’m getting somewhere.
Anyways, enjoying the smell of iron oxide on my hands in the middle of the afternoon!
Mike
