Muscle Mass or Toned Fat?

Well, a start of another week,  fired up and ready to go…just waiting for all the "government" employees to get out of the gym and go home to eat cookies or watch TV.  MLK day…I’m at my office right now working hard at looking like I’m working.

The goal of this week in to increase weight, not reps,  don’t get me wrong I don’t want to just push something or pull something 1X and call it a set…my Min is 4X…my Max 10X.  If I can preform at more than 10X per set then the weight is to low.  I want to "feel" some pressure, some pain, and some progress.  Lately I haven’t been to sore the day after, and if you look at my workout history then you’ll notice that I tend to go everyday and target the same muscles by doing the same exercises over and over…getting kind of bored.  I don’t want to get bored or burnt with my exercise, I want be excited to go each and every day…I want to be rock hard, I"m going to be rock hard, and I’m going to achieve this week’s goal come Hell (that would be a stretch since it’s 12 degrees outside) or High Water (well since the lakes are frozen, no problem there).

I’ll check back in Mid Week to let you in on my progress…any tips or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Have a good one,

Mike
