Just lazy and working my life away, if that makes sense.
Ran 5 miles yesterday.
Ran 6.25 miles today (almost forgot I signed up for a 10k). My time was neither good nor bad, but I want to characterize it as abysmal (1:03)
Been starting the morning with pushups and other bodyweight exercises. No lifting, partially because I had a cold and didn’t want to infect others in the weight room. Does seem like I hit everyone at work, though. Oh well, at least they’ll be immune.

for a full session for the first time in weeks. Mostly been doing run/calisthen. It was great (even though I kept dropping things). I felt like I was on percocet for the rest of the afternoon. Didn’t bite anyone’s head off and didn’t think longingly of the electric chair.
Awesome.

Moo. I say, Moo.
And not foo, which is a common designation for an example program or program function.

Everybody knows that you cycle your running…run less on some days, more on others.
Not me.
I thought, hmm..I’m different, I’m special. Damnit.
4 miles everyday first week. No prob.
I even gapped a couple days.
Moved it up to 5 miles this week. (Again, not advised). First two runs, great. I even followed up with some jackknifes and some of those nifty clapping pushups.
The third run finished with twinges. Today I’m hopping around like a brain-damaged frog. This is of course, why I haven’t gotten any of my homework done. Which is what I should be doing instead of posting this.

Still here. Taking a sabbatical…if I have time, I’ll probably use it to exercise.
Mostly just running anyway. 3-4 miles is getting pretty easy, time to move up to 5-6.

To me, there are two categories of fitness. The first category is fitness towards a goal, such as running, lifting, or a job involving heavy physical labor (which is getting rarer and rarer, at least in my neck of the woods). The second category is general overall fitness, what makes you look better and perform all around cool, which is what I’m trying to achieve along with most of bodyspace.
One should note, however, that the powerlifters taking on the truck-tow contests…are definitely not ripped. So I guess it all depends on what you want.
Wish I could have it all, though.

Huzzah. 45 minutes on tread and 4×12 sets of mid rows, low rows, flys, and incline presses, all, sadly at 50-80 lbs. Grah. I feel better, anyway.

Ran 5k, bleh time (29 minutes) but consistent pace. Lifted for three sets of dumbbell triceps extensions, 40 lbs (didn’t have my glasses, so I didn’t go for something reasonable). Enjoyed the hell out of it. Did 3 sets of captains chairs. Ran out of time, had to go to work.
Then I carried two flag stands around for a bit, and made people mad when I refused the cart they had so nicely prepared for me(yeah, I feel guilty, but I didn’t want to bounce the cart back to its accustomed place, and I feel like a cripple with two things on a cart that I can carry under arm, so to speak). Said stands are only 20 lbs each, estimated.
Err…yeah, and now I’m drinking wine. Which theoretically undoes it all, damnit.
N so goes the day.

Need validation. All the heroes of my youth (though I did not call them that) were people of incredible endurance, l33t skills, and the sort who could win or lose a chess game against themselves and still count it more than any other match in the world.
Damnit, what’s wrong with me? I haven’t made it there yet, and it’s looking like it’s too late for the attempt.
Well, hell, I can still gain muscle.
Oh well. Good luck to you all.
