So this Saturday, I’m going my hubby to Canada’s Wonderland (an amazingly HUGE amusing park). It’s in Toronto, ON, and if you have never been there, and like rides, I DEF. suggest you go!!:)
But anyways, the part that I need help with. . .is that being an amusement park, they don’t exactly have the healthiest foods, and even if they did, it would cost a kazillion dollars to buy it! lol:)
SOOooo. . .I need some good lunch/snack ideas! I still want to eat as clean as possible, and they need to be fairly simple!! I welcome ALL suggestions!!:)

Okay, so here’s another day with a small little cheat in there!! Again. . .any input is GREATLY appreciated!!! thanks!:)
Breakfast: 1/3c. oatmeal with one scoop of protein powder.
Afterworkout: Protein shake, and 1 banana.
Lunch: 1 whole egg, 4 egg whites, Garden cocktail.
Snack: apple with 2 slices of cheese, and almonds.
Dinner: chicken breast, 1 c. red peppers, 1 brownie (I stopped at one!! yay!!)
Snack: Protein shake, yogurt, 2 rice cakes.

Okay, so here’s my eating for today.
Breakfast: 1/3c. oatmeal with one scoop of protein.
Afterworkout: Protein shake (always water with one scoop of protein), 1 banana.
Lunch: 1 whole egg, 4 egg whites, 1 1/2c. onions/mushrooms/broccoli, olive oil.
Snack: 1 apple, 2 slices of cheese, handful of almonds.
Dinner: 2 tuna patties (1 can of tuna, 1 whole egg, ?oatmeal, flaxseed)
Snack: Protein shake, yogurt, 1 rice cake.
So I have a really hard time between lunch & dinner. I eat lunch around 12-12:30. I start work at 3, and if I get a 15min. break it’s at 4:40, then I have dinner at either 6 or 6:30. Either way, I snack on almonds around 4:30. So I’m having a hard time with how much to eat, and when. I’ve been eating a snack around 2:30 before work, but I sometimes end up hungry before supper. I don’t know if I should try and add a little more? I just don’t know where/what? It’s so hard with work! Being a nurse, I can’t just stop to eat!

Okay, so I’m gonna start doing a food journal on my blog! I’m hoping it’ll help me stay accountable (ashley, you have my permission to kick my ass when i screw up lol:P). I also would like any tips/suggestions for clean eating and such!
Sooo…here’s for today. . .
Breakfast: 1/3 c. oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder.
After workout shake (water with a scoop of protein powder)
Lunch: 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, a garden cocktail (kinda like V8)
Snack: 1 banana, 1 tbsp. peanut butter, handful of almonds (about 1 ounce)
Dinner: chicken breast, 1 c. peppers
Snack: shake (water with 1 scoop of protein powder), yogurt (little container), 1 rice cake
Again. . .any suggestions would be great!

Okay, so for those of you that read the oxygen magazines. . .in the August/09 issue they have a 4 week glutes plan. It’s kinda hard to explain the whole thing, but you’re pretty much doing one exercise for your lower body workout 1-2X a week switching every week.
Friday was my day to do "around the clock" lunges. You start out with your right leg lunging towards 12 o’clock for 15 reps X 3 sets. Then you move to 2 o’clock, then 3 o’clock, then 5 o’clock, then 6 o’clock. Then you switch to your left leg doing the same thing, but the opposite side of the clock! Man. . .it’s KILLER!!! I did it with 10lb weights in each hand.
Yea, my butt is still SORE!! Seems like a silly workout, and it’s kinda boring, but man. . .def. works!! Hopefully I’ll be seeing some results at the end of the 4 weeks!! I’ll post some pics!:)

Okay, so I’m back from a 4 day vacation! We went camping. . .and I ate HORRIBLY!! Waaayyy too much sugar + no exercising = BLOATING!!! But I’m back on track now!
But enough about me. . .I must say that I was sadly disappointed in the bodies that I saw over the weekend! I don’t think I saw one nice & tight body! I saw a lot of love handles, soft tummies & squishy bums! And there were a lot of skinny fat girls with lots of cellulite that thought they looked good in their bikini! lol:) Even the guys. . .there weren’t any buff guys on the beach! The only six packs I saw were on little guys with no muscles! lol:)
So disappointing! C’mon people! Let’s get our bodies looking tighter & sexier than ever, and get out there and show those people what a real body should look like! hehe:)

well, that’s what i think about when i get stressed out. chocolate. . .chocolate. . .and MORE CHOCOLATE!!! like wtf!? i’ve been kinda stressed lately just trying to balance everything in life (work, house, kids, gym). and when my stress kinda peaks. . .i think about how i can get myself some chocolate! thankgoodness i didn’t cave just now!! lol:P but seriously. . .why can’t i think about like asapargus or something!! hahaha:) but i just bought a bikini recently so i have to keep that in mind!!:)
grrrr. . .stupid chocolate!! who invented it anyways!?;)

okay..so i’m on the patch for birth control, and i’ve read places that birth control causes bloating, and weight gain, and such. so i was just wondering if maybe birth control is part of the reason i’m having a hard time in shrinking my belly!
so if anyone out there has any experience with birth control, or knows anything about it…i would LOVE your input!

Soo…for someone that eats healthy, exercises, and takes her multivitamins….I sure get sick a lot!!
I didn’t even go to the gym today (which really sucks cause i wanted to do the kickboxing class so bad), cause my body has just been aching like crazy. My entire body from head to toe hurts!!:( And I have ZERO appetite so I’m pretty much forcing myself to eat every 3 hours. This really blows!! I hope I’m feeling a little better for tomorrow!!
