Today was a horrible day for news. I am told I have to refrain from training for a couple of weeks because of a slightly torn hamstring.
I pushed it too hard and now I have to refrain from exertive leg workouts, no riding bikes and limit my walking at first.
I was getting some serious lifts for core before accident and now another setback.
My training was as such before torn ham.
Deep squats 8×405x3sets 5×425x2sets
Leg press 7 45 plates a side4×10
Deads 370×4 405×5
Leg Xtension 250 2×10 1set 300×8
seated calf raise 4503×10
Side Lunges 105×8x3sets
I took a while to get to this and i will probably lose some leg strength I will continue to do upper body while I am unable to do my leg workout.
That is all for now.
Will update again later.

Today was a horrible day at the gym. i seem to have pulled or tweaked something in my shoulder and I attempted to work through but I could only do minimal workout and that bummed me out. i normally work shoulders and tris on same day but today I could barely move my arm past my chest. i think a couple of days rest should help( I hope). I do not want any more setbacks, just getting into a good rythm and I hate when I cannot get a full workout in. Jumped onto treadmill but I just was not into it. i am sure others feel the same way sometimes, when you gear up for a good blast and then you do a half-assed workout, just can’t get motivated to do anything else. Just shame and you want to leave. Going for full cardio tomorrow as Fridays I like to give myself a serious cardio boost to pump me up for weekend. That all I got. Cheers

Hello everyone just wanted to say that I trained hard all weekend and today I had to work and I had nothing all day. I even told my boss I was going for a nap because there was nothing really to do. (Canada Day) and I was at work. I really wanted to go to the gym today but nothing could snap me out of this funk. Probably run down from training and then not resting. Hard to do when it is a long weekend, I guess that is the price you pay for training hard and then playing harder. i will definetly slow it down next long weekend. Gotta keep focused and not let my Buddy Molson get the best of me. Anyway just wanted to put it down as a kind of reminder of how crappy I feel today, to make sure I keep myself in check. take care all.
