Leave Phelps alone
This whole Michael Phelps getting caught smoking pot situation is really bothering me. Who cares if he was ripping a bong? Bruce Lee used to take THC in the form of tea at night to help him mellow out and he, like Phelps was an amazing athlete. All I see in the papers are quotes such as "what was he thinking" and "what a dope". This infuriates me because I truly believe that legal drugs such as alcohol and cigarettes are far more harmful to your body than taking a bong rip(don’t give me that crap that pot is much worse for your lungs than cigarettes, cuz I will tear you to shreds with research). I do realize that marijuana is anillegal substance, but if Phelps had a picture taken of him with a bottle of beer nobody would care. But when he’s caught with a substance that has caused zero deaths in it’s known history of use, people go crazy. I just don’t get it, but I do like the fact that possibly the worlds most dominant athlete gets down with the ganja. Any thoughts anyone?

Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes was busted with a blunt in his car earlier this season here in PIttsburgh. Didn’t seem to slow his reaction time on that last minute game winning TD.

I totally agree, and it pisses me off that he had to apologize to conform with the hysteria and hypocrisy of the media. Nobody gives a s**t about what he did until the media start inventing a big story where there’s really nothing to talk about.
