Loving the changes in my body.

Well it’s now been over 5 weeks since I started working out again. I am so happy and proud of myself for finally making the commitment and not back on the "I’ll start tomorrow program" (lol). I’ve done that too many times and ended up just increasing in weight. Nutrition & training has changed from looking for a quick fix to eating right and getting my training (both strength & cardio) in for the long run. Quick fixes lead to nothing but going crazy and having a free for all with food in the end.

Besides the BFL individual challenges I have now also joined a team from another website. I think that this team is going to give me all the motivation & desire to really push it to another level:). They are all competing in figure which is something that I have always dreamed of and used to watch competitions all the time before on tv. Never been to an actual one but there will be one coming up in the middle of April that I get to go see. Watching their progression and the transformations that they have already made is so inspriring, and it’s great to be able to have people watch me transform and one day in the future compete. I do have a long ways to go but as transformation of the week has proved on bodybuilding.com, it can be done with a lot of motivation, drive, discipline, and determination. I have all of those.

Right now I’m just extremeley happy and enjoying the gradual changes that I feel and have been noticing in my body. Although we can’t pick areas for our fat to come off, I’ve been pretty pleased with mine:)…I don’t feel so heavy anymore, like I’m walking around with a 10lb weight all the time, and I definitely have increased energy. I am starting to feel a lot better about myself which helps tremendously and that affects my life in so many aspects (dating, going out with friends & family, self-confidence). I am beginning to get my old self back again which I love. When my girl-friend asked me to go out the other night, two months ago I would have made an excuse, a hell yes dropped out of my mouth and then I texted her back;)…I love beginning to notice suble changes in my figure even though there’s still a lot to come. Less cellulite appearance in the hams, bum starting to look less wide which helps with it looking flat, bum looks like it may be curving a little but we’ll see with photographs as the time comes, I notice more definition in my arms when I’m working out at the gym, and man have I lost a lot of weight around my middle. I still have a lot there but my back roll is slowly deflating (lol) and I absolutely love it.

So today is a good day and I am very happy to continue on;)

    You have a lot to be happy and proud about. Way to go. Keep finding ways to move forward as your schedule gets more difficult.
