Body For Life :)

Okay, started Body For Life (BFL) today. Yeeeaaah. Did the Upper Body workout. Not as intense as I remembered doing from before, but it was the first day and I am also adjusting my weights to figure out how many reps with what weights, so next time around I can adjust my workout with the correct weights so I get the right intensity. I think the last two & 1/2 weeks of working out has definitely helped me but the BFL weight workout definitely helps build your intensity and increase your weight to add that muscle.

I also did the cardio portion although the cardio portion is not supposed to start until tomorrow. Now this portion was completely different for me. It whipped my butt. I forgot how intense it was. No wonder you burn fat so great. That is definitely going to do something for me. Will probably add some extra cardio on my weighlifting days but I will not do the treadmill and will work in the bike or elliptical trainer instead.

All in all, a great start to the program. My diet was already in par with the BFL program, but I do tend to go a little bit lower carb although I do still add them in. Finally back under 175.0 once again too :) (kept yo-yoing up & down with weight, diet stayed pretty good and was working out, but weight was fluctuating). Hopefully it will stay on the downhill slope from now on :)
