Well, started week two. I’m still hanging in there. Did upper body today and a little bit of Cardio Party by Turbo Jam. Finally back down to 170. Hopefully the weight will start coming off now. Don’t feel any thinner but I defintely have more energy, feel better, and feel healthier.

Stretching day today. Start week 2 of BFL tomorrow. Didn’t see much results this week. Hopefully I will drop a little weight next week (actually gained about 2 lbs this week, maybe some muscle???). Thinking about going a little bit more low carb which has worked for me in the past (not atkins style though). Will still add some carbs in there throughout the day. May add some walking throughout the day (take my good ole dog out). School starts in less than a week. Need to get my game plan together of what to bring with me to classes, clinicals, etc. & make sure that i have extra just in case. My brother is also coming from Okinawa, Japan in a week & 1/2 so I need to stock the apartment up with food soon. He definitely won’t eat the wheat bread & fat free milk. Overall a decent first week. Definitely tweaked some edges of the fitness program that I will be doing over the next 11 weeks & figured out what changes I needed to make as far as workouts and meal/nutrition wise. Other than a few supplements that I need to get, I am ready to roll.

Did HIIT for 20 minutes (including warm-up & cool-down). Also did part of Turbo Jam - Cardio Party remix & Abs. Not the best diet day for me. Got stuck @ work because the man that I take care of refused to go to his daycare program. Can’t leave him alone, so had to stay there (sweet, sweet man though). Needless to say, didn’t bring enough food with me because I didn’t expect to stay so long. Ended up eating what he had there and the same thing that he was having for lunch. But we deal with it and move on right. Just need to jump right back on track with my diet & make sure to bring more things with me ..JUST IN CASE. Overall not a bad day though. Most important for me is that I got my workouts in.

Got a little bit more energy during my leg workout & added HIIT today on my treadmill. Love, love, love the workout. Hopefully it will work as well for me as it has for some other people. Need to up the ante during the recoup period but this was also my first time doing it also. Did 30 sprint, 90 recoup. Will slowly increase to 45 sprint, 75 recoup once I get the hang of it.

Day 5 of BFL. Legs still a burnin. And guess what. Time to do legs today. Not looking forward to it. Very tired, but I’ll squeeze out my squats & deadlifts (oh myyy) and think of having a nice round bum bum. So off to do lower body I go and then hopefully I can fall asleep within the next few hours. Still haven’t gone to sleep from my overnight last night (had eye appointment this morning).
Still haven’t lost much weight. Up and down, up and down I go. I know I’m not supposed to watch the scale, but it’s so addicting. I will be in heaven once the numbers start a dropping. Hopefully, it means muscle gain for me.

Legs a burnin from yesterdays workout (especially my hamstrings). What a great feeling-the burn. Need to stretch more after my workouts. Today is cardio (intervals) on the treadmill and Turbo Jam, Cardio Party. Definitely out of shape aerobically. Can’t wait till I build some endurance. Had cheat day yesterday. Now I know why people really don’t want to cheat after awhile. You feel like crap afterwards and don’t really even want it anymore. I think I’m only going to save my cheat day/meal for when I go out to dinner or something & reward myself in that way. Very happy that I am still sticking with this. Feel much more confident that I will make it through the 84 days and will continue to stick with transforming my body .

Day 3 of BFL and I feel really good. I can definitely feel a difference in my energy level. Did legs & treadmill with an incline today. Need to add more weight with leg exercises. Definitely missing the gym when it comes to working lower body. Miss the leg press and being able to do leg extensions & leg curls with the machines. May decide to get a gym membership earlier than I expected. I will make sure that I stick with working out this time though. Today is my cheat day (yeah). One cheat day a week allowed on BFL and wanted to use today because it’s the weekend. Good thing is I don’t even feel like cheating. Hope that these feelings continue.

Decided to start the Body for Life Program. The 12 week makeover that I hope will transition my body into a lean mean machine. I’ve looked over several diet and exercise plans but I love the idea of reaching a goal in 12 weeks. It gives you a great time frame to incorporate exercising and eating right into your everyday life and make you stick with it. I started on Thursday and already decided what revisions I will do to make the program hopefully work better for me. I decided to add cardio six days a week instead of three. I will still do the three interval days, but I will do three days of incline on the treadmill to work those buns & legs . I am very excited about this program and will probably blog once a week and do pictures once a week just to keep me up with everything. I know I should probably only do it once every 2 weeks or a month, but I think this will make me stick with it a little better. I will also continue to do stats once a week also although I know that my weight is not always an indicator. Can’t wait to see my progression during the 12 weeks and also to have a goodie that is allowed on my cheat day …

Well started my first day of Abs diet and my workout (full body, nothing intense). I feel really good. Have been on and off working out. Hoping this time around I can pull through and reach my goal of losing that fat. Too many times trying to go low-carb and having the munchies beat me to the punch. So I am adding in the good ol whole grains and eating more healthier. Love this website. Able to show progression of how your doing, multiple before, transition, and after photos and get advice from other people. Definitely going to help me in my goal to get back into my 130’s
