Kicking off track season the right way!

October 21, 2009

Ok ladies and gents, yesterday was my first attempt at throwing the javelin since losing more than 40lbs since July. In the javelin quickness and strength are your best friends. During last season I was really disappointed because I was very healthy but at the same time I was very over weight. After the last meet of the season I weighed in at 287lbs. It was at that time after watching all of the smaller faster athletes beat my distance that I had to do something. On July 15th I decided to take control of everything in my life and get my **** together. From that day forward I really started watching what I ate. Simply from doing that the pounds really started to come off. After that I started on the LG Sciences Trifecta stack and boy did the pounds really melt away. I kept my strength up but really just started to shed the pounds. School started on the 1st of September and everyone was just confounded with the way I look. When school started I was about 10lbs heavier than I am now. Right now I am weighing in at about 245 in the morning completely nude.

Now back to track. My season best last year was only 55 meters. This is not a good throw by any means because I KNOW that I can do much better. Yesterday I was starting my training and went about my regular javelin throwing routine. After warming up and getting some good warm-up throws under my belt I started to really let some fly (about 75% effort). After throwing somewhat hard for about 10 minutes I decided to get a little bit of speed built up and let one go. Well when I did that my goodness was I surprised beyond belief. I ended up throwing 61+meters yesterday. Thats an improvement of over 6 meters just from losing a lot of weight and gaining a lot of speed. I will keep updating this as I see fit guys.

Thanks for reading-

Brandon

WOW

August 6, 2007

New update with the new stack. I love this stack. It is by far the best I have ever had. I have seen significant gains in only ONE WEEK. This is no lie. Today, I benched 295lbs for one rep. To some people this is no real big deal but to me this is great. Before this week I could only do 275 one rep and finish out my set with a spot. I love this stack.

Amazing week

August 4, 2007

This was my first week on my new MHP stack and all I can say is wow. In one week (no lies) my stretch marks are turning BRIGHT RED. I am extremely happy with the results and its only been a week. Can’t wait until Monday.

Big loss this week

May 26, 2007

I am not too sure if it was the horrible diarrhea that I had this week or if it was the Basic Cuts that I just started taking but I just got off of the scale and I lost four pounds this week. I am very impressed so far with this supplement. I did not get to start the MMA training like I had planned because money was kinda tight around here.  But I will be starting this week for sure.

New workout coming Monday

May 18, 2007

Starting Monday I will be doing MMA training about 5 days a week. On top of that I am going to try to get to the gym at least 3 times a week. My new goal is to be down to 230-240 by August 1, 2007. Its gonna be a GREAT SUMMER!!!

New training

May 16, 2007

Yeah I know I haven’t posted in a while but I’ve been busy with track. Now I am going to begin MMA training here in Massachusetts at a Straight Blast Gym. I have been looking all over for an MMA gym and I finally found one. I will update you guys as the training goes on.
