I am not going to say that I understand but I am going through a similar ordeal with my uncle (which I am very close to). He has diabetes and has brain cancer. He like your dad doesn't really know what is going on and doesn't make sense a lot of the time. It is hard to deal with but because of my faith I can only pray that one day I will see him again.
