I have gotten some really good feed back from all my Bodyspace friends.  With accountability partners like you guys, I’m sure I will always have someone to push me and call my bluff when I’m not holding up my end of the bargin.  That being said, I would like to take the time to publicly thank MuscledBrute for the pain, suffering, and progress that I have in my immediate future.  The rest of you will have to be my inspiration for the spring.  But for now, I’m going to wow "The Brute"!  I promise.

Week off

I’m tired, I hurt, and I think I’m getting bored.  I’m going to take a week off.  My lifting partner is going to Florida in 6 days, so of course he wants to cut weight a little bit.  I can take the week off to rest and rejuvenate and he can run all he freakin’ wants.  When I come back, 4 weeks of hard, heavy, mass gaining.  I can’t wait to take pics at the end of March.  I want to see a dramatic difference between my March pics and my June pics.  I want to put on 8 to 10 more pounds in the next 5 weeks, then lose 8 - 10 over the course of the following 3 months.  Hopefully that will leave me around 235ish with 9 - 11& bodyfat.  I’d take that…yeah, I’d take that!  The last time I was 9% I was 215.

Get in there

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

Forced myself in again.  Was in the emergency room with my son all night Wed,worked all day Thursday, and will work 48 hours between noon Friday and 9:30 Monday I night I will work 50 hrs…so I forced myself to get in the gym Friday morning before it all begins. 

 Decent work out considering no rest, little motivation,  and no partner.  Was only my second time in for the week so I did the big movement for all the major groups.  4 Leg Presses, 4 Deadlifts, 4 Bentover Rows, and 4 Bench Presses.  Went fairly heavy on all.  Don’t expect much gain from it, but shouldn’t lose much either.

I forced myself to lift yesterday.  Luckily my partner made it in or I would have gone half as heavy.  Didn’t over do it (went up to 120 x 4 +2 on incline dumbell press) but definately had no intentions on going that high when I went into the gym.  Could definately feel the fatigue though.  Next three sets were flat bench 225 x 6, 12, 10 (I know right?).   We finished strong with a few hard sets of cable flys and got out of there.  I still wound up working 15.5 hours yesterday and getting in a modest chest workout.  Overall I consider myself on the up swing from my sickest.  Today Day 4 of the regiment!!

Frustrated

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

2 days into my new training program and supplement trial.  I am at home with the Flu.  I’m gonna see if I can still get in and get some maintenance work done, but I’m definately frustrated.
