6.5 Days!!!

The scale said 213.5 today.  I’m not entering it until it says it 3 days in a row but Da^^it is said it.  The routine is starting to settle in and cooking ahead of time is really making it easy.  The fact that so much of my time is taken up by trying to finish this Inc. in the stupid class I took 2 years ago doesn’t give me time to crave.  I wrote out Aug. work out plan and I’ll be hitting everything twice a week.  A lot of dropsets and cardio everywork out.  To get the workouts done in the amount of time I have I’ll have to go at about 60-70 seconds rest (big change from my 2-3 min).  I know my ego is going to take an even bigger shoot with the numbers I’ll be putting up but maybe some abs will make it worth while.  I haven’t been this close to abs in 6.5 years!!!!! 

 

Lets get it done!

I’m huuunnnnngry!

I have eaten everything clean possible in this place and I’m starving.  I can’t wait to get home.  My wife made my chicken for the week last night and I will probably be eating it before I even put my keys down.

205 here I come!!!

Countdown

3.5 days clean and getting easier!  I made it through the weekend which is my hard part.  I am awake, bored, and around food (not to mention alcohol) for twice as long as during the week.  But I made it.  My weak point was eating 6 peanuts out of sheer bordum.

P.S. Someone called me "Skinny" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Since when?!

Imagine that…I decide I want to lose 13 -14 pounds…the next two days my wife cooks Lasagna and Fried Chicken!  What ever.  It was her treat to me and the ruff 12 weeks I have ahead of me.  I was looking at my pics from October when I was 223 and I was definately leaner.  I don’t know how or why because I am sure I have more muscle mass now, and I am definately stronger (even with the shoulder) but the pics are the important part and they scream FAT BOY IN A LITTLE COAT!  Initiate plan sexy!  See you in Sept.

I’m down to 220lbs.  Unfortunately that has nothing to do with fat loss and appears to be all muscle.  I’ve been doing cardio (waaaaay less than before Vegas) and trying to get 8 - 12 sets of lifting in.  But right at about 10 sets I start feeling this D@#m shoulder and I have to stop.  It doesnt’ hurt enough to make me stop but pushing through it will get me nowhere in the long run. 

 

I guess I’ll be the 190 pound fat guy soon.  But hey, I have the pictures to prove where I’ve been right?

Back and Better!

I am back from VEGAS!!!!  I would tell you how it was but What happens in Vegas…

I hit the gym this morning.  (actually lets start before that)

I got the results of my MRI on my shoulder and the 3 Phase Bone Scan on my knees early last week.  Diagnosis, tendenosis in the right supra spinatus, with signs of a previous injury.  Nothing in the knees.  My doctor is refering me to the Cleveland Clinic or the Mayo Clinic.  He says whatever is wrong with my knees is bigger than him and I should be looked at by a group of doctors who have sport specific knowledge.

 That being said I took the rest of the time I was here before Vegas as well as the time I was in Vegas off :(   But like I said I’m back from VEAGAS!!!

I hit chest today (calfs are now everyday).

Flat Bench

250 x 20

300 x 6

250 x 8

250 x 12

Incline Dumbell

100 x 8

85 x 12

60 x 15

Machine press

90 x 15 x 3

 

All in all I felt OKAY, for taking the last 2.5 months off.  Marked strength loss, but I was only going about 75% and I am down 15 lbs.  I still feel like I was probably pushing it at this point, but I’m getting stir crazy!!!

Determined

I refucse to let this shoulder stop me.  I took two weeks of from the gym.  I did nothing but cardio last week (3rd week).  I tried to lift Monday…pain!!!!!  But I’m not going to let that stop me.  First week was 20 min cardio.  Earlier this week was 30 min.  Today 50 min.  By the time I can lift again I’ll be at 90 min if I have to.  I’m going to make progress on something.  I don’t care what it is.  Abs and calfs here we come!!!

Itch

Okay.  I’m on Saturday of my week off.  I’ve done good until now but I’ve been really busy at work.  Now I’m starting to get the itch.  I’ve only got the rest of today and tomorrow but I really want to get in the gym.  My body feels good.  I feel like I need the rest befor this last big push in my mass phase.  Especially after some of the comments I recieved have me in the mindstate for a couple personal vindettas (sp?).  I’m going to stick it out and eat like a hog.  Calories are calories for the next 30 days.  Can I gain 2 pounds per week??? We’ll see!!!
