Down Side to Losing Weight
For every positive there is a negative. Last night I went with my girlfriend to a place called SandBar in Chandler, AZ. I wore a pair of jeans that I have had for a while and a collared shirt. I had to wear a belt because the pants were a size 38 and the last time I measured my waist was 35 inches. When my girlfriend and I got to the bar the bouncer denied me entry. He told me that my clothes were "too baggy" to get into the club. Can you believe it? I would hate to think that I need to buy a whole new wardrobe before I start going to clubs and bars again.
I firmly believe I was racially profiled and the club didn’t want people like me there. I could understand if I was a thug but I am a college educated professional. Pure ridiculousness.

I don’t know much about Chandler, AZ, but here, my boyfriend even gets ‘profiled’ at the grocery store! It’s insane.
Congrats to you on your progress!!

This is ridiculous. I imagine you were profiled. I heard not long ago that in Dallas they were thinking about, and may have, passed a law against baggy pants. Terribly racist. I hate it.

I felt I was profiled as well, but my girlfriend insisted that I was being over dramatic. I went out this weekend and bought pants that were a size smaller. Nice fit!!
