I had another good workout this morning. In the past, I’ve never worked out my legs hard… mainly because my legs have been one of my strong areas… but I’ve read many articles lately about increasing one’s bench press by developing more powerful legs. Has anyone had that experience?
I maxed out the seated leg press machine for the first time today, but my dumbbell lunges suffered at the end of my workout. Overall, another solid workout. Let’s hope I keep this momentum going.

Ah… my first entry. I’ve always been athletic, but I’ve never taken working out at the gym very seriously… until now! 
Thus, I’ve finally challenged myself to see how far I can push my body… naturally of course… My goal isn’t to win any particular competition, but to challenge myself everyday to lift more, run faster, and ultimately look better. I know that being a part of the inspiring bodybuilding.com community will help me make significant gains and I look forward to exchanging tips with others to help achieve all of our goals.
I had another good workout this morning, but I’m still struggling with going heavy on deadlifts. I’ve always avoided them in the past because I was worried that I would throw out my back. Now that I’ve gotten over that psychological barrier, I’m getting frustrated that I tend to lose my grip around the 5th or 6th rep. Any suggestions?
