3 weeks in…a new beginning?
December 5, 2007In high school I was 5′10 130 lbs very skinny. Thats when I started taking lifting classes. Our coach was a former trainer for Olympic Athletes so I really listened to what he had to say. It was a great gym, perfect atmosphere, and no distractions. After high school I was forced to join a public gym for the first time and never quite got to that same level of dedication again. Girls were a huge distraction, constantly waiting in line to get to the equipment I wanted, and at the time I had no lifting partner. I would make great gaines and lose motivation after 3 months. I recently moved and found this gym that has all of the equipment the more popular public gyms have, but what really intrigued me is I have been there for 3 weeks now and noone else is ever there. I have cleaned up my diet and lifting hard 4 days a week and already getting back to my old form. My goal is to stay dedicated and push my body to its limit.
Todays back day and my workouts have been getting more and more intense. The weight is increasing every week and this week I plan on adding deadlifts to my workout. It is not my favorite exercise but I do believe you need a big compound exercise for back, chest, and legs to get solid results…
