I’ll give this bloggin a shot…

I am feeling good today.  I have changed my diet (increased calories) and changed my workout routine (less cardio/more weights) and I am excited to see the changes.  I’ve been on this new regimen for 2 weeks now and so far it has been working well and it’s so nice to not be starving myself anymore. 

It seemed like 2 years ago, after having my daughter (and having gained 60 pounds during the pregnancy) that I would never get back to my pre-preggo body.  It has been a long journey, but I’ve lost most of the weight I gained and am now working on building a strong muscular body, again.

I am so excited b/c my boyfriend is coming to visit from the UK tomorrow and will be here until Monday.  It should be a fun weekend.  He is into fitness, as much as me, so we will get a couple workouts in, as well.  Also, it is my daughter’s 2nd birthday Friday (I can’t believe it!) and I am having a pool party at my parents to celebrate, on Saturday.  She is so excited! 

Looking forward to the gym tonight.  Today I do 45 minutes of kick-boxing and Legs.
