I read some of the blogs and I see that it is not the content of the blog that causes the most responses to happen, but the picture that goes with it !!! Interesting, I am almost sure I am not the first ot discover this,,,,,,,

This morning after going out for a run and while walking the dogs I find myself thinking about the 70% of youngsters (you know the 20ish crowd) that I can keep up with. Now in most cases that would be enough to keep me motivated. However I find that it is the 30% that get me to push harder and fight more. I challange myself at every turn to do more and better than the next guy. At times this only serves to get me to were I am going, Other times I find that this pisses people off. "Your just trying to make us look bad" is what I got the other day .!!????! Were do some of these people get the Idea that what they are doing is OK, and I am doing more than is expected. I wished more people would turn this around and take a look at what they are doing and think to themselfs "Maybe I could be doing more" Anyway, thats what i am thinking about today!! Have a great day and stay safe

Today I find myself in a place I hate to be. Good friends are gone, and old habits have crept back in and have pushed the weight back up to 221LB.
The last 14 days on vacation did not help at all. I find myself not really eating bad until after 5 pm. Then it is, just a little of this and a few of these.
I need to re-focus my efforts. I find that I need more structure to make things work for me. Seat of the pants is not the ticket.
So far today has been off, but I still have a 10 hour work day, 2 hours of driving and a workout. Then there are the meals( I make my lunch and bring it)
The only goal that I have right now is to make it to tonight after my workout(around 1230am) and then to get some sleep…..

I am going to embark on a 12 week, all out "Run for the Abs". I will be working out using the Bill Phillips Pricipals, And eating with the help of FitDay. I am looking not so much for weight loss, but to see my abs. I think that I should be able to do this in the next 12 weeks. During this time I am also reving up my running to get ready for the Half Marathon on Thanksgiving day……. Best to All

It’s been a while!! And while I have not been slacking, I have not made any real progress in my Goals. I ran 25 miles last week and have plans to compete in 1/2 Marathon on Thanksgiving Day.
My big thing this week will be to work on my calorie counts. I want to get to 6 meals a day. I just do not seem to find the right combination to make this happen.
Question: If I want to weigh 195, toned. How do I know how many calories to eat to get there. Were is the best place on the web to find this info?
Anyway, I am at 212 Today, we’ll see where I end up next Monday

Well, vacation Part 2 is over. There are a few things that will be new today.
1. I will be working the later shift for a few months, and with this will be a commute across the beautiful upper end of the perimeter here in the ATL L. My senior VP assures me I am the only guy who can help him out with the issues we have at this branch……. We will see. At least the Bike will start getting a workout on the 70 mile commute daily.
2. I will start working out in the AM before I go running. This is something I have not been doing, but will start again to work on my form and drop a few extra pounds of fat.
3. I am still on the search for my abs and will start working on “food”. I will try to stay away from too many pills.
All in all, I feel good at 210lb. However I want to get down to 200LB and would like to see my abs before the end of September. If you have any advise please send It my way.
The best to all of you, especially the One-Day-At a time Crew J

OK, great news…..Vacation is over. I put on 7 pounds in a week of eating, a little drinking and even running 3 times.
So, with 47 days left until my 10K I am ready to get to it. I feel energized and ready to go.
I do think I need to add weight training in on a more regular basis. 3 days a week, 2 body parts a day.
I am also in need of more distance running. I need to run at least 15K twice a week. This will help with conditioning
I also need to post some new progress pictures…..
