Well I took the last two days off. One was a scheduled rest day the other I was just tired after working 11 hours! Having that extra rest day did me some good! I was going to work legs today but worked back/chest instead. I really didn’t feel like going to the gym….it was cold!…so worked out at home. It’s nice to have that convenience. Had a good workout. Kept the weights the same but that’s not to say I didn’t work my butt off! This is a challenging workout….especially due to the order of exercises! Dips after bench….killer! BIG game tomorrow! GO DUCKS! Love ya #53!

My trainer has created some amazing workouts for me! If these don’t get the job done I don’t know what will. Yesterday I worked back/chest. Had another stellar performance. Kept all the weights the same as it’s a pretty tough workout where I’m at. Can tell I am getting stronger as I am increasing the # of pull-ups/chin-ups I do unassisted as well as adding additional reps to my push-ups. Today was shoulders/arms and abs and I rocked it!
Military Press: 70# all sets/reps
1 Arm Shoulder Press: up 3# to 35# for 2 sets, 4 sets at 32.5#
Lying Rear Delt w/Twist: 17.5# all sets/reps
Side Lateral: 22.5# all sets/reps
Plate Choppers: 35# all sets/reps
1 Arm Preacher Curl: up 3# to 25# for 4 sets, 2 sets at 22.5#
Seated Hammer Curls: 30# for all sets/reps (after doing 25# on preacher curls I was spent!)
DB OH Press: 35# all sets/reps
Kickbacks: 22.5# all sets/reps
I am one tired puppy!
Well, my vacation is over and I return to work tomorrow…but only three weeks and then I am off for two!!!!!

Been busy the past few days. Trying to get some stuff done around the house but I managed to get my workouts in. Did my cardio on Wed. Ran outside…the weather was gorgeous! I could’ve ran in shorts and t-shirt! Took yesterday as rest day and just got home from gym where I worked legs. Had a good workout. Stayed at 105# for box squats and 50# for 1 leg press but upped zercher squats to 95# and did deads at 155#. So my trainer told me to do my calf raises by holding 2 count in up position and do a 5 count on descend….yowzers!
I felt the burn!

I freaking ROCKED my workout! I cannot remember the last time I worked out this hard….of wait, yesterday!
LOL! These workouts are amazing, thanks to my awesome trainer! I thank her now that the workout is over I think I cursed her a few times during ….and cried for my mama! he,he
So last time I did this workout I upped the weights on all sets/reps so I was determined to stay there….well on some exercise I did even better!
Military Press: up 5#… 70# (for 4 reps), 65#
Seated 1 Arm Shoulder Press: up 2#…32# for all sets/reps
Rear Delt w/twist: stayed at 17#
Side Lateral: up 2#…22# for all sets/reps (these also tough since I have to go SLOW!)
Plate Choppers: stayed at 39#
Preacher Curl: stayed at 22#
Hammer Curls: just wanted to see if I could do 35#…and I did for 2 sets but form always comes first so lowered to 32# for next 2 and had to lower to 30# for the last 2
OH Press: up 2#…37# for all sets/reps
Kickbacks: stayed at 22#
I am pooped! I’m sure I will sleep good tonight!

Had a GREAT workout today! Worked back/chest. Did rack pulls at 210#. Think I will leave it at this weight for a couple weeks. The last two sets were challenging but I was determined. Did 1 set of bench press at 110# but for whatever reason today it was a struggle
so I lowered it to 105# Told Matt to spot me and after the first set he told me, “Mom you don’t need a spotter you can do these…you just think you can’t”…..and he was right! Did them on my own…kept him close by (just in case). Upped the pull-overs to 40# (these are tough) Feel tired….but in a good way!

Yesterday was leg day. I was really lacking motivation to workout. After fighting this head cold all week and then Friday night was a disappointment as my son’s HS team made the playoffs but then lost it with a 25 point lead! WTH?????
I sat in 48 degree weather for that? Oh well, Matt’s a junior so there is always next year for him. Ya win some, ya lose some……talk about winning…GO DUCKS! They rocked it in Arizona! 2 OT and they take it to the bank….yeah baby! I looovvved it that the AZ fans starting jumpin to the sidelines to rush the field and had to find a way back to their seat! HA! Dewitt is only a sophomore but he got some playing time. All I know is I’m packing my bags cuz we are going to Pasadena!
Dewitt told me to slow my roll as they still have game against OS…but I got faith! So most of yesterday was spent lying on he couch but I did manage to get myself to the gym. Was not feeling it but half way through got my second wind and nailed the zercher squats and deadlift…upped it 10# to 155!
Trainer thinking of nixin my cardio all together for my bulking! Yippee. Wonder if that means I get to add in some more weight sessions?…fingers crossed!

Just finished my workout….back/chest. Had a great workout despite the fact I am fighting a head cold! Ugh! Kept weight the same on rack pulls (205#) but think I will be able to go heavier next time. Upped weight to 100# on all sets/reps for bb rows. Did 3 sets of 110# and 3 sets of 105 for bench press. Upped weight to 39# for pullovers. I am feeling the muscles I worked. Think it will be wise to soak in tub! Off to eat my flank steak and aspargus!
