Knowledge is bliss!!!
I still believe I am ectomorphic
But knowledge is great……….I began reading this great guide to body types and how, with my body type, I have to raise my caloric intake substantially….because if I dont,
-"What’s worse is that the ectomorph metabolism is usually so fast it works like a furnace constantly burning up calories - if they are not enough calories in your system, your body will start to break down your muscle tissue instead - basically undoing all your hard work"
End-Quote
Well, with all that said……….I finally did the right thing and added up my caloric intake and figured out………I eat all day, but basically they are not adding up, so I need to raise my caloric intake foods OR triple/double the amounts…both maybe?
Adios

Wow………its been what a year, since i last logged in to this
Guess im going to get back to my goal
I wish I had some amazing results to share………..but I dont, the only thing I can tell ya: being ectomorphic is a GIFT and a CURSE
You can eat all you want, w/e you want whenever you want……doesn’t matter…………..but at the same time, you can’t gain the sufficient weight that you need….
Im starting to work out and binge……we’ll see how that goes?

Well, I’ve been busy, but for the most part been keeping up with my schedule. I havent succeeded much in the weight side, but I can definitely see my muscles becoming much much more toned. Most notability my abs and arms. My plan was twice a day everyday, then decided on once 5-6 days. Now through this wonderful site, I learned that I could be potentionally overworking my muscles and to be honest, I could feel it. It is recommended AT LEAST 24 hours and 48 hours is advised of rest. I am now doing resting periods(monday-wednesday.-friday) and can feel and even see the difference in letting your muscles replenish themselves. I should post abs update/progress pictures. I am now focusing more on the lower abs and obliques.
Therefore I advise all to take 24-48 hours of rest. Or variate your muscle section workouts.
