Need more plates
Friday, May 25th, 2007It is pizza night again already, but I only managed three cardios this week. A run through the city some stair stepping and a rowing machine session. I did my dips and realised that it will be some time before I manage to work through the full range of movement. I read in the forums that I should start with lowering myself by inches and work my way up to a full 90 degree arm bend. I need to buy some more weight plates though. I see thekansan is getting a 300lbs lifting set. We have been scraping by on 60lbs of weight and two dumbell handles, doing pushups using little handle elevating things and now dips between the kitchen benchtops. I might also need to sort out some kind of pull up bar so we can get a decent back workout. I have introduced incline flyes this week and last week and man they pumped the outer chest and the front delts up. The sons not been interested in the weights this week. Too much socialising…as teenagers do.
