Had a blastin’ shoulder workout!! Ive been taking NOXplode and have increased my lifting since. I see changes in my arms, legs and shoulders, need new pics but im lazy to take, I will upload one of my belly. I have no muscle, but its nice and flat. working on it!!!

As I turned 37 this year and joined the age group thats seems to dominate bodyspace/bodybuilding I am excited to see my new results in the upcoming year. Have you noticed that all the hot women in Hollywood are also in the "over 35" category??Angelina, Jen, Pamela, Janet, Madonna…..this list can go on and on.

Not to mention the athletes that dominate sports are also 30 somethings. How exciting is it to join this group and feel good stepping out of adolescene and 20 somethings thinking that was the best time of our lives only to realize our lives have just begun.

 The motivation I have gotten from the womens profiles ChickenTuna, Ms Fitness and Spanishbelle (just off the top of my head) are soooo amazing. I envy all of you in a good way. The bodyblogs are a good way to compare my eating and workouts to see where I can make positive changes and be on my way.

So to all my peers : CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ARE OVER 35!!!!! And to all the younger gals, "been there, done that" and it only gets better, see you over the hill….

p.s. to all the men out there "you know what I’m talking about"

workout today

Today I ran 2 miles on treadmill in 24 mins. Then I did a leg workout, leg press, leg extensions, calves. Mostly the bigger leg muscles. I plan on running 4 miles in the evening. I had a protein drink, followed by a turkey pita sandwich with hummus and lettuce and tomatoes. I will write in tonite to write the rest of my meal and workout. boring… 

New Pictures. Dissapointing :(

I will be posting my new pictures today. I am doing this only to keep my committment to post every month, (maybe too soon). I don’t see many differences. I have gained 2 lbs from the first set of pictures. Any words of encouragement?? I have been running 2 miles on tread 4-5 days a week followed by 45 mins of lifting. Evenings are 3-4 miles on Tread 4-5 days a week. and Sat and Sun is 2 - 4 miles running outdoors. No lifting on weekends.  Also, I swim about 3-4 days a week for about 30 mins. I eat 85% clean. I did have a weekend of drinking this month and not eating as clean as possible. Is that really doing the damage??

Tough week

Talk about a tough week. My dear friend Premium Fortenberry, was missing from Covina CA on July 16 and found dead in Arizona the following week. He was a precious friend and the mourning has been tough. How can you keep focused when so much is going on around you?? Its been a tough week but the workouts and running help me maintain sanity in this confusing time. I can’t help but feel guilty, to keep working out, realizing that so much evil is around us. Please, I need encouragement.
