Transformation of the week!

February 16, 2009

So this time last year I was over weight and feeling like my body was never going to look good again!  I was going to the gym, but really wasn’t investing much time and dedication in my weightloss, thinking in my head that "I cant do this, its too hard, even if I did put all the time in it, it just wont happen for me."  After I finally got over all the negitive thoughts in my head and replaced the negative with positive I started seeing improvements.  The first positive thought was, well if I do put all this hard work in, and dont look great, at least I will be heathier and have more energy.  So I started going more and putting more hard work in.  Well after seeing all the progress I was making I knew that I was overcoming my fears.  And look now, I have lost all the weight that I gained from my twins (was 210lbs the day i gave birth, now 125lbs) , I wearing a smaller size then before I had my twin boys, and Im modeling again.  Which I thought would never happen again!!!  I have gotten so many sweet emails from people because of this tasformation and feel blessed to have the encouragement and people looking up to me as a role model and for inspiration.  Everyone of those emails that I get are truly an inspire me!  I swear right when I got the first one I was thinking, I better hit the gym more.  lol.  I dont want to let anyone down.  But most of all I dont want to let myself down.  I hope that in anyway my story can help you get up and do something about your goals, whether your goals are to lose weight, gain weight, gain muscle, anything.  I know that its hard and I know that your mind is always telling you that you cant do this…  You just have to take out all that negativity in your brain and replace it with the positive.  And for those of you that have emailed me, thank you so much!  I hope that I emailed everyone back, which I think I did.  I want you all to know that you are a huge encouragement to me!

end of week 10

July 3, 2008

So, I have been working out with a trainer now for just about 10 weeks, and I am pretty sure I am ready to do this myself.  I push myself, I know everything I need to do, so I think its that time to stop working with her.

But I would like to get some feedback from you all…  So…  My workout routine is this:  monday wednesdays and fridays I do 45 minutes of running, which is a little more then 5 miles, then I do abs, then I do legs.  Tuesday and Thursday I do the same run, abs, but I work out Arms Back and shoulders.  Saturdays I do Cardio only.

Well yesterday my trainer was saying now the I have lost all the weight I need to cut back my cardio and only lift 3 times a week!!!!  She said to only do cardio 2 times a week.  Other wise I wont see any results in losing this body fat.  IS THIS TRUE????  I know I am crazy, but I love running, it gives me a high, and I actually love lifting as well.  This is my time to get away from the boys and do my own thing.

Well anyways, give me your feed back.  Do I start to cut back?  Or do I continue doing what I am doing???

BTW!  I am doing great with progress, I will post some more pictures soon.  My body fat is now at 18%  oh yeah another thing my trainer said is the lowest I want to get down to is 15% or I will have some issues.  Let me know your thoughts on this too.

just blogging

June 12, 2008

So, I have had this site for quite a while, maybe 2 years, maybe more.  I havent really used it to its full extent, so I decided that I will try to use it more so I can meet more people and learn what they are doing to trasform their bodys.

A little about me, lets see I have 5 month old twin boys.  I was very active before having my boys.  I modeled and was very fit.  Once I got pregnant I became a slob.  It was no good!  I thought of pregnancy of my free ride to not go to the gym.  Which is not a good idea.  I got up to 210lbs while pregnant, from 130lbs!  I know crazy!  Well once I gave birth I weight 188.  Then got to 178.  I platoed there cause I wasnt doing too much.  Then in April I decided that I need to hit the gym and lose this weight.  I have been eating healthy and working out for 8 weeks now and I am now weighing in at 148.  My goal is 135 so not too much more.  But…  I am really wanting to transform my body.  I really want to challenge myself and push myself to my limits.  I really would like to see defenition.

So far I have made these goals:

Eat healthy, work out 5-6 times a week doing 45 minutes of cardio at least 5 times a week, meet people that I admire at the gym and try to learn how they are doing what they are doing, and make sure that I am blogging though out this process weekly with pictures.

So any advice you all can give me would help so much!  Whether it is on what suppliments to take, or what crunch works best for you, lol.  Anything would help!
