sunday workout with chumbanga

man oh man, you talk about having the best trainer partner in the world.. nothing like having your own bro push you to the next level… my bro has been training great for a long while, and he could get anyone of any size or condition in great shape regardless of age, disability and/or goals.. so sunday, may23rd comes, and it’s shoulder day with chum.. I haven’t worked out with hi min a while so i knew i was in for some good pain lol

10 sets of dumbells 20reps with increasing to deceasing weight huh, then side and frontal raises, smith machine, shrugs etc….. yeah, its like that lol

I felt great afterwards, and now that im cutting down, so I can compete in about a year maybe less… I’ll be joining LA fitness where my bro is in august as soon as my other gym membership is up…

my december

I really tried to focus more on eating properly.. I’ve read so many articles and most repeaed the same phrase "eating is 75% of the workout" and I believe it. I’ve also combined what my bro chumbanga has taught me over the months just watching and listening, also putting those ab tip nickedge gave. I focused more on putting mass on so I decreased my reps from 12 to 8, and lifted a bit heavier than usual.

In the beginning of december I could only press 135lb. on the chest incline with sets of 6, but now I can do sets of 8-10… I can’t wait to step it up next month…

WEDNESDAY WORKOUT SUCCESS!

MAN, TODAY WAS ONE OF THE BEST WORKS I’VE HAD SO FAR… USUALLY I HAD SOME TROUBLE COMPLETING SOME WORKOUTS, BUT TODAY I WAS ON!… I HIT MY CHEST, DELTS, AND TRICEPS TODAY AND BY TIME I GOT TO TRI’S I FELT KINDA BURNED OUT, BUT I PUSHED THRU IT… THE GYM WAS VERY CROWDED, AND I COULDN’T HIT THE MACHINES LIKE I WANTED TO, SO NOW I WILL TRY AND GO EARLY IN THE MORNING AND AVOID ALL THAT "5 O’ CLOCK" GYM TRAFFIC!!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

OKAY, AS OF YESTERDAY, I’M FINALLY APART OF THE BEST GYM ON CAMPUS, THEY HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED!! I CANNOT WAIT TO WORK OUT TODAY I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

I SHOULD SEE SOME SERIOUS IMPROVEMENT AS LONG AS I FOCUS….

a step back

well, im not gonna sugarcoat it.. this week was tough for me, and i really didn’t get to workout much and I think I took a step back.. due to outside concerns, I was either interrupted during a workout or trying to work out with others. i’ve learned that if you are not working out with people who have the same drie or more as you do, then you prolly wont get what you need done. No offense to anyone who uese partners but unless Im working out with my bro, chumbanga or somebody with drive, then i’ll do it on my own…

i took a step back, but I still pit pics up… next ime i show pics, they will be two or three steps forward.. promise.

I feel great about this week, I’m feeling alot more agile than normal and i’m not as tired. I really gonna step it up today as I’m using the thermoshread now. I wanted to wait till i felt i was ready and I am… I really gotta put some pics up soon..chumbanga, remind me to stop down the street and buy that camera off you. lol

JJOINING A GYM IN AUGUST

I’VE DECIDED I NEED TO GO TO A BETTER GYM WITH BETTER HOURS AND MORE EQUIPMENT… I’M GOING BACK T OTHE GYM I JOINED LAST YEAR ON CAMPUS CALLED "THE POTTRUCK". IT HAS EVERY MACHINE I COULD THINK OF AND A T LEAST FIVE OF THEM… I HAVE TO WAIT TILL AUGUST 17 TO JOIN SO THE MEMBERSHIP WILL BE CHEAPER. I CAN’T WAIT AND I KNOW I’LL BE ABLE TO REACH MY GOALS ALOT BETTER.

WELL I HAVEN’T DONE TOO GOOD THIS WEEK WITH MY GOALS.. MY PLANS WERE FIOLED BECUASE OF STUPID WORK HOURS, AND THE SCHOOL GYM CLOSE AT 8PM. NOT GOOD. I NEED TO JOIN ANOTHER GYM SOMEWHERE THAT STAYS OPEN A BIT LATER. I’VE TRIED GETTING UP EARLY IN THE MORNING BEFORE WORK, BUT ITS HARD.

I’LL TRY IT AGAIN NEXT WEEK, BECAUSE RIGHT NOW, I’M A BIT BEHIND IN WHAT I WANT OT ACCOMPLISH. THE ONLY THING I HAVE DONE IS IMPROVED ON MY AB ROUNTINE. WHEN CHUMBANGA FIRST GAVE ME THE AB ROUNTINE, I COULDN’T FULLY COMPLETE IT, BUT NOW IM ALMOST CLOSE TO DOING A FULL ROUNTINE…

WELL NEXT WEEK I’LL TRY IT AGAIN OR GO LOOKING OFR ANOTHER GYM.

Welcome!

Well, I’m late putting my first blog up, but i’ve already been training an entire month since Chumbanga gave me 12 week Program…. At first, after my workout was tough… Since i’m trying to lose bodyfat and weight, I’ve been instructed to do 15 - 20 mintues of cardio before and after my workout…

It took me about a week before I was able ot go over 15 minutes, because I hadn’t ran in about two months. After my second week, the first thing i noticed was I had more energy and was stronger during my workouts. I had never added any real cardio when I worked out and now i understand why it needed…

In the past, as much as I worked out, I could never bench that much weight. The most I could do was 205lb 1-2 reps. I’ve been doing the program for a month and as of this morning, I benched 225lbs 2reps after the other inital chest exercises. Almost every area I’ve seen improvement… The only thing i still struggle with is doing pull-ups! After two sets of 10, i’m darn near tired!! LOL..

I happy with where I am right now, and I plan to take it up a notch higher next monday….! Later!!
