weeks 19 - 20 not much to update
Monday, March 17th, 2008I never updated last week. Not much too update. Strength and stamina are shot from being sick. 5 weeks until I start dieting for the INBF show in Virginia Beach…I may actually have some fans there - coworkers, church members, and drunken sailors - anyway the game plan in the next five weeks is to not miss a single weight workout and to eat as much as I can with the goal of packing on 1-2 more pounds of muscle before I start cutting back. Can not wait to get back on that stage, I’m jonesing to do it. Talked to a gym-friend and figure competitor Friday night and she may have talked me into trying out Fitness Model this summer, we shall see.
On a training related note, I squatted 225 for 8 reps today, that’s a first. It felt easy but so many guys started offering their opinions/advice/belts (yeah that was weird) on my 245 attempt that I think I psyched myself out. It was also my 7th set, next week I’m going to try to get there before I’m so worn out. I still can’t bench more than 105, I’m concerned about my upper vs lower symmetry.
