Had a couple good weeks of training. Had 41 miles then the next 32 miles. 73 miles in two weeks is alot for me. My body feels pretty good but this next week I plan on only 20 to 25 miles. I have started back on some light lifting. I can do front pull downs, standing ez bar curls and db curls, seated rows and light machine bench press. I want to be in some kind of shape before Octobers shoulder surgery.

Busy, it’s just another 4 letter word. Not a bad word. Ran a half marathon on Sunday. Everyones garmins had the distance at 13.60 or 13.67 miles. My time was 1:41:06, 15th overall and 2nd in age group. It would have been a pr if measured right. Any way did a quick 3 miler at the park while my son Jacob ran with his running club. He did 3 miles with the walk run method. He’s getting better and more into it.I’m proud of him cause he is trying!! I better watch Amanda she can just about run 1 mile without stopping and she is only 5.WOW!! Today I’m abit sore sore rest day. The doctor says my shoulder is a mess. Rotor cuff has a 50% tear with the impingment and something else with a bicep tendon. I don’t want to be laid up all summer so the surgury will be the first week of October. Hope I can still trick or treat.

It’s been a while since I’ve sat down and did this. Training has been going pretty good. This last week I spent a couple days going around Maryland. It is a pretty state. Went all over Frederick, White Marsh, Earleville, Sudlersville (MY FAVORITE) and Davidsonville and last Mt Airy. Did two runs on this trip a 5 miler and a 4.5. Both days it was hot about 80 t0 82. Total miles for the week is 34.5. I’m happy with that. Another good thing is no unusual pain except in this damn shoulder. Anyway all is well did a 5k last Saturday and won my age group with a time of 19:50. The first two overall were both in there 40’s also. I came in 5th overall. Well it is time to go to t-ball.

It,s over, The Cleveland marathon was awsome. My goal was for under 3:36 and my chip time was 3:29:13 and I’m pretty sure it qualifies me to go to the Boston marathon. I just need to figure out how all that works. The course was good not to hilly, wind was medium to high and cool at some turns as. as of right now it is Monday morning 3:17 am and going to work. Going to Wooster then down to Hamilton, OH. My body is more sore than usual. I know I ran 26.2 miles.

Saturday morning andgetting ready for work at 4:30 am. Yesterday was quite a day. Went to Kalamazoo,MI just to pick up empty racks and on the way home on the Ohio tunnpike a guy in a jeep patriot hits my trailer tires. I did’nt feel a thing but I saw his jeep go all over the road. He was lucky to regain control. Nobody got hurt, the jeep is banged up and he got cited. Got back to the shop emptied my trailer then took off on a quick 5 miler (7:03 pace). After work today hope to do a medium speed 6 miles then church so on Sunday morning a 16 to 20 miles then rest the week before the marathon.

Well on Sunday like I said did the 16 then a rest day then bounced back with a 9.5 miler on Tuesday, Wednesday was an off day and tonite (Thursday) planning on at least 7 miles. This weekend I would like to complete a 18 to 20 miler before the week before the marathon.
