Coronary Heart Disease
Just been to the Dr and found out I have Coronary Heart Disease. It sure is not what any one would like to know that they have it. Well Dr said to stop Weight training and only do walking and light jogging and take madicine regularly. I’ll miss weight training. But I’m surprised how the heck did I get this disease? .. I have always worked out so hard been always active still and I’m only 25. wow Does some one have the same experience or idea? I’ll be off the Training for some time …

I would get a second opinion on what kind of exercise you’re allowed to do. I’m surprised he’s limiting you like that. Seriously, get a second opinion.

Yep, agreed. I can’t believe a Dr would say to stop weight training. Cardio AND weight training have a multitude of positive impacts on the body. Plus, there are many different risk factors, blood test being just one. You’re young. I assume you don’t smoke, or drink heavily. I assume your diet’s pretty good, from the looks of your pics. Plus there’s cholesterol, etc. Med’s would be the LAST RESORT for me, not the first. I have high cholesterol, and I’m still not taking med’s, since all my other risk factors are good.

What in the world is your diet like that you’d get coronary heart disease at this age? It doesn’t make any sense.
