More compliments, assessment & shopping!

Hey everyone, I actually went shopping on Saturday and was able to find jeans and pants that fit without trying on every pair! I’m down from a size ten to a size 8. People at work are complimenting me and asking what I’ve done to lose it all.  

I’ve gone down several inches on my waist, thighs and behind, but I still have a bit to go before I can look in the mirror and feel pleased with what I see. For some reason my hips aren’t smooth and curved anymore, and there’s still a small pooch going in…that’s not good! I just purchased the "Eat Clean" books by Rosca (?) and I’m going to see if I can have the whole family eating clean, that should get rid of the rest of my issues.

I got my first muscularity compliment today! It’s the first time a layperson has responded to the muscularity in my arms. My co-workers comment made me want to push all the harder for it to show in my legs, hips, thighs and get rid of that tricep and stomach pooch for good and all. I’ve started eating the egg white/oatmeal combo and adding healthier foods to my diet go so far and to premake and take things to work. Still trying to find that fine line between eating sweets and cutting back on them. I want to be proud to wear shorts or a bathing suit and put that pic up on my page! That is my future goal!  Later!

I just weighed myself today and I’ve hit 146.2 lbs, at least by my bathroom scale. Funny thing is it also read I’m at 37% BODYFAT! How can I weigh smaller yet have so much fat? Where is it? (Thighs, butt, knees and stomach  are probably holding on to it) Anyway, I’m doing a little more cardio on more days, particularly the HITT type workouts and more lower body workouts with reps at mid weight, I don’t want to get bigger thighs than I already do. (I love working out the lower body, especially the DOMS I get afterwards) 

My enemy and foe seem to be sugar and bread! I’ve tried the Truvia and Stevia routes but they just don’t taste right to me.  My goal now is to be a little more true to the bodybuilder’s diet (eggs, oats, proteins, etc.,) and see where I need to be weightwise in order to "see" my muscles as opposed to as I’ve said before only feeling them. I’m thinking it’s got to be around 143lbs so that means I’d need to lose roughly three more lbs. I’m hoping not much more because the "girls" are not happy…..Being a pear ain’t easy….

No more Hydroxycut, doing it on my own…

Well, ever since the recall I haven’t taken Hydroxycut, although I did like the affect it had on my cardio workouts. I’m seeing a lot of upper body definition right now, but not so much where I want it most-the lower body,especially butt and thighs and knees. I’m kind of bouncing up and down weight and fat % wise so I haven’t posted any new losses recently. I’m trying to step up the clean eating which is difficult because I live with someone who is totally not into bodybuilding and brings home beer, cake and fast food for dinner, which means I have to resist harder and step up the cardio and weight workouts, particularly for my lower half.

I tried on a party dress I brought in the ninety eighties, it fit pretty well, but it was tight in the hip and thigh area, when I can get anywhere around that early size 10 I’ll be closer to my goal.

Still using the Hydroxycut on my heavy cardio days!

Hydroxycut gets me through my cardio, we all know how boring that can be. I have made great strides since taking it and I hope to continue with it to get to my goals. I think having ten or twelve lbs over my body mass would put me where I can see muscle definition and still look healthy. I think somewhere in the twenties on fat mass would be good. We’ll see and tweak from there!

Hydroxycut status

I am using the Hydroxycut on my cardio days only as it gives me the energy I need to get to my 45 mins. I’m finding I can’t use it on my training days unless I eat something first. So far I am bouncing between 31-33% bodyfat from 38%, which is pretty good. Now I need to get over the hump (past 151 lbs) and see how that feels. I was amazed that when I was 150 lbs in 2003 that I thought I was too big. Now it seems small to me. Interesting.

First workout w/new supplements

Added Hydroxycut Max and Dymatize Extend to my morning workout. I did this before drinking my protein shake and found myself mighty jittery. Decided to eliminate the Extend and just use the Hydroxycut for now. After I drank the rest of my shake and ate something I felt much better. Will drink the glasses of water as directed and monitor the rate of fat loss.  At this point I am taking it twice a day for 1-3 days and moving on from there as directed on the box.

Supplements and Such

I received my Hydroxycut today along with creatine/glutamine sample and Extend. I expect to begin taking them tomorrow as directed. I will probably add another day of training for legs to my program because it’s an area I really want to work on. Wish my gym wasn’t so full after work on the weekdays, but it’s something I’ll have to live with until another location opens up in the neighborhood. Still working on fat loss above all so I’m substitute a protein shake for breakfast with fruit and if I want a snack either fruit or a shake…

Battle of the Bulge

Since I posted my first pictures on BB.com I have lost a total of ten pounds. I think I have another five to go before I see some definition. I recently purchased the Hydroxycut and expect to receive the item soon. I have gradually adding healthier foods into my and my family’s diet and doing my best to eliminate high amounts of sugar and bad fats. I am still working out steadily with weights three times a week and cardio at least four days a week.

Gym Style

My current workout is fullbody three days at the gym, the rest of the week 20 to 30 of cardio. I like the elliptical and stairmaster at the gym and using my treadmill and stationary bike at home. I’m basically a person who likes to workout by myself but if I have to I’ll do the gym thing, because there are heavier weights and certain machines there. I am doing heavy weights and as many reps as my body can handle right now. I switch up and do a split when I feel like things are getting too predictable.
