The day after

ok, so i am psyched, it is the morning after my workout with cball and I am only a little sore.  We only worked on my arms this time, so my shoulders are definitely sore, but thats about it.  The last exercise machine we went to was the pullup/dip machine.  normally, i put the weights at 120 and just do a light dip workout, so I thought thats what we were going to do when we went there, but oh no, i was doing pullups! I have to say that I definitely do not like pull ups.  They hurt me.  I can’t remember the resisitance weight he had me on on those, but it got to a point, towards the end where he had to help me to the top, i just couldn’t do it.  So then after I was done with the pullups, ( i only did 3 reps of 6-10 each),  he had me turn around and do some dips.  :D   Dipping is my forte.  I do it everytime I go to workout my legs,  due to the machine being over where all the leg stuff is, and not near the arm stuff.  I workout my legs alot…LOL.  Neways,  I love to dip on the machine.  Normally I keep the weights between 120 and 130, depending on how I am feeling by the time I get over there,  giving me only 15-25 pounds of resistance.  I can do 3 reps of 20 at that light amount.  So I started at 120, I told him that I do this by myself, this will be no problem.  (that was the wrong thing to say, OMG was it)  So he put it at 110….I was getting a little nervous about that amount of weight, but did it fine.  I can’t remember the repititions for me on this one, Cball, can you please help me out here?? So I took a break for a min,  then he put the weights at 100….thats 45lbs that I was having to lift, but granted,  I was able to do it without any help.  (i have to say I was definitely impressed with myself)  again, another break….got some water, my arms were starting to feel tight like they really need a good stretch,  so I came back to the machine…he had those weights to 90 pounds! Now 2 days before,  a friend and I had a friendly little bet, that I couldn’t do 10 dips with the weights being on 80, cause you know 65 pounds is alot for me to lift.  I got to about 6 before I started to shake uncontrollably and start to need help, which the friend was nice and gave me, so I was able to still do the 10, although i totally wanted to kill him afterwards.  I think working out should be enjoyable, not painful.  the pain should come afterwards..LOL.  ok so anyways, he had me at 90 pounds,  this surprised me, because I told him the other day when my friend and i had that friendly little bet at 80, and he said that that was too much…yet he only put me at 10 pounds lighter than what my friend did…so I started, and I got to about 8 that I started shaking uncontrollably,  i finally quit doing the whole dip and just did partials to get through the damn rep….towards the last 5,  I felt like I could barely do it,  but cball gave me a nudge up, and just with that little budge I was able to complete the set…and that makes me happy…but good lord, 55 lbs is very heavy for me…LOL.  Neways,  Cball is a great trainer,  I have noticed that after last weeks training, my tricep is huge, (for me) i don’t even have to flex for it to bulge now.  It just does…I guess this happened on Thursday during the day at work,   cause I had 2 or 3 people ask me where I work out at.  One guy even said to me,  something is different about you, now i was wearing my contacts that day, but he said it wasn’t that,  it was my body,  I seemed to be slimmer/more muscular all around, I so wanted to jump on him and give him a huge bear hug, but I was good, i restrained myself.  ok, so now that I have bored you to death with my long ass "story",  that is the end for now.
