And I have made great progress. I have lost another pound last week and officially I have reduced my waist by 10 cm for this entire seven weeks period.

Here is a small retrospective of my seven week journey back:

Sick and tired…

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

Yeap I am still sneezing and drooling, but working out on a regular basis. I am not quitting for some measly reasons like fever lol…

Anyway I am getting more and more hyped about entering the bodychalenge2008 I really really would like to be one of the five contestants! :D

I also can say I finished my cradio session two days ago, after almost two weeks off, I felt better plus I extended the running distance so I will make more progress.

I feel much better today and I hope that by the end of this week I will be in full health and continuing with normal activities.

First day in the gym

Monday, December 10th, 2007

Finally I got to the gym, real gym, and at first I was disappointed. It is old gym and equipment is ruined, but at least usable. However, as soon as I started working-out my mood changed and I was focused only on my training. It feels good to be back under a good old bar loaded with heavy plates :D

Last time I was in this specific gym, was about ten years ago, and no one remembers me from that time. I am usually one of the biggest and strongest in the gym, and here there is no difference. There are very few serious exercisers over here and people gave me strange looks when I played with 100kg on the bench.

Which brings us to two things I hate the most about the new gyms. People with some exercising experience trying to give me perfect advice how to loose my big belly and people calling me "chemist" behind my back. I am a lighthearted person and I rarely react to those but sometimes it gets to you. With this gym it’s no difference and I already noticed few who gave me those looks. The worst part is, these guys are cowards, they never have guts to walk up to you and say it to your face, shame…

Anyways I am glad I am working out, and looking forward to my future success!

the Natural way…

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

I have just logged in this morning and for some reason I started googleing natural bodybuilding federations. This is what my search showed m

inbf     and         wnbf        and of course    naturalbodybuilding

You should visit these places, they are great. They have awesome sites, with nice tiled textures and loaded with information, and the overall design is just…professional. No wonder so many athletes use steroids when you have such a lousy support for the natural way.

Australian federation took a step forward and all the cudos to the www.inba.com.au

BTW. I made a first video of me self, and god ill at the same time…how was your weekend :)

Six weeks are gone…by by

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

I have just reached my six weeks mark. I feel great for holding on to my goals, even if I wasn’t always right there. Anyways, I just took my progress pictures and measured my self, and realized I have lost a pound and an 1cm around the waist, despite disastrous last week.

My body stats show I made progress but I do not feel so, must be because it is such a small progress, but any progress is better than none at all.

I will intensify my workouts from Monday. I start with the gym and real exercises with some serious weights and I also plan to regulate my cardio. Still not sure how, but I will figure it out.

I also plan to limit my carbs even more, and to start with some good fat burners. When I look back at these six weeks I realize I have made all this just by doing push-ups and dieting, I am definitely positive about making huge success when I start working out in the gym and supplementing with fat burners, I will reach my goal with ease.

No cardio

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Had no strength to do it, now I concentrate on re feeding myself and continue with my regular dieting schedule. I even feel a bit bloated after these two days. Either I did something wrong, or these two days were a mistake. Life is a learning process…

Starvation over…

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

And this is the summary of past two days.

First of all I wish to say it is nothing dreadful but it is not a walk in the park either. I made it through but I am not sure this should be combined with heavy exercising, not even modern I’d say. Light is the right word when it comes to exercising. I have noticed a significant loss of strength and stamina, but it was expected when you are running only on fruits. I suppose I had a plenty of carbs since I feel sharp and not light headed. But my muscles are not recovering at all. Soreness is same as yesterday and it’s messing with my workout. Instead of 10 pull-ups I could only manage 6 with much discomfort too.

I’d say this can be done from time to time, but not with active athletes who need planned nutrition and specific balance between proteins/carbs/fats. For a person trying to loose weight through regulating nutrition it could work but I am sure it can not do anything for me.

Anyway I still have a jog in the morning to see how it reflects on my cardio, but I am definitely not trying this for seven days.

…and it still continues…

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

OK, I have survived first half of the day and nothing special is going on. my belly is constantly empty, but it was expected since I still have not ate more than 500 calories. Anyway the feeling of weakness is gone and only the feeling of hunger is here:) There is only left to see how will do on my workout and than I will have complete image of my fasting. That is it for now…

Fasting continues…

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

But I am not sure it was such a great idea. I am not sure is it because I slept only 5 hours or this restricted calories fast. I guess it is combination of these two but I will see how things develop today.

I was very tired yesterday, slept the whole afternoon and throughout the night. I woke up this morning fresh, but I am worried about yesterday. Anyway I have this day to go through and I will post updates to my blog several times this day.

I ate a pear and a banana this morning, My best guess is I ate somewhere around 200 - 250 calories. I feel a bit weakness in my muscles but not slugish.

Tired…

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

I slept only 5 hours lat night, had to work till late, but I still managed to get up and finish my morning cardio. I also believe less calories is not helping, but I can make it.

Anyways, I think I am getting to few calories per meal. I am down to 200/meal, so I guess I will have to increase it to staj awake lol, however the fasting continues, I am eating only fruits. This morning I had a 200gr raw grapes and a banana.
