From Begginner to Intermediate - Question
18 May 09I have been working out religously for the past 6 1/2 months. Since that time, I have made some tremendous gains. I gained approximately 15 pounds of muscle with about 4-5 pounds of fat, which is not bad in my opinion considering the fact that I have a small body-frame. Lately, I have made absolutely no new gains. Two months have past. Of course, I know I hit a plataeu, but I’ve done almost everything to rectifiy that including weeks of rest. Initially, my workout consisted of 3 days per week, head to toe, 3 sets, 10 reps. Now, I’ve increased my weights at 3 sets, 4 to 6 reps and still no gains. I’m getting stronger, but not bigger. What am I doing wrong. Can anyone help? I’m thinking about loading with creatine to see if that will work. My goal is 180 pounds. I am at 168 currently. I was 150 back in October.
