One door shuts and another opens
Well… I got laid off from work. I am really bummed out about that because I love my work. I don’t understand what happened w/ their business … I guess money and business management. I was last in so I am first out, as they say.
The great thing about getting laid off is that now I even have more time to work out at the gym and go to a larger variety of classes. Two of my favourite days to go to the gym are Monday and Friday… and now I can go! I always try to find good in everything. I’m lucky because my hubby makes good money so loosing my job isn’t a financial blow. I will be able to take care of my kids better…take them to school and back and be here when they are on school holiday.
I went in this morning and ran for 1.5 miles then did a circut cardio class and then a weight training class. I feel super duper good.
I’m still trying to get rid of some body fat. Why does it come off so slow … or it seems to anyway. I need to be more patient I think… it won’t happen over night.

Definitely keep the positive mindset, and keep busy. It is far too easy to get settled in a slump after something negative like a lay off. Look at this as an opportunity to shake up your life and your routine a bit, and a time to look for new opportunities.
