itouch
I just got an itouch and downloaded fitbuilder. I love it! It REALLY helps with my workouts! I love all the fitness related apps! I count calories and this really helps with that too. I got the 8G which is the smallest but it goes up to 32G for those of you who wants to watch videos and such. I got it on ebay…at first I was unsure if I wanted to spend that much $$ but now, I’m glad I got it! It will save me money on the long run! I hire a trainer to kick my butt every once in a while when I feel I’m slipping but now, no need for that! This thing is BETTER than a trainer if you ask me! Any thoughts?

Well, Im actually slowly going against technology and while it can make life easier sometimes, it tends to make people lazier. My thoughts, and sorry if I offend, are ‘Can it give you the spot you need a real trainer can give you?’ ‘Motivate you to push out those last couple of reps?’ ‘Tell you what an awesome job you did on that workout, or just display a number that shows how good you did?’
You asked, I gave my thoughts. If it helps you, by all means rock on! You look like your in great shape already! Best of luck to ya.

Thank you for replying! You know, I’m a tech geek at heart! I don’t know, perhaps it’s the times I was brought up in and how my family always had computers around…I didn’t get an ipod until about 2 years after the first one came out…I just thought that it was ridiculously expensive and I was just fine with my RCA mp3 player. But, I gave in and got an ipod because I have to admit, apple has really cool state of the art stuff. You’re totally right about it not giving you that extra push that a trainer can! For me, it came down to saving some money in the long haul. In this economy I can’t afford a trainer. When i say it’s better than a trainer, I really mean as far as convinience, $$, portability, being able to track my progress, calories, workouts, reps/weight progression, the thing even has a count down clock for each set and rest and it beeps when it’s time for the next set! Like I said, I’m just a tech geek and love stuff like that! In this day and age, it is important to maintain human interaction and value other’s real experiences. Thank you very much for pointing that out!
XOXO
