I was soo sore on Sunday that i decided to make that day my rest day on a count of i cant move a muscle lol!  my trainer and i had to modify my eating b/c i was starving through out the day so now i think im gonna pop!&#8230; Today i benched at a max of 85&#8230;which is crazy before i couldnt even lift the bar alone getting stronger..yes i am<br />
right now im on the look out for a great tasting meal replacement shake..if anyone reads this id love some suggestions&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This was my first double gym day (oh how sweet).&nbsp; I went to the gym at 6am and i have to tell ya&#8230;i like the vibe in the morning..everyone says &quot;good morning&quot;&nbsp; its an older crowd. so it was nice..pple were concentrating on their own workouts..doing their thing.it was just nice.&nbsp; I did abs/calves/cardio this morning then carried on with my day.</p>
<p>No energy pill today&#8230;tomorrow Ill take it.<br />
PM workout..Totally different crowd..much younger and they all come in groups and boy! are they HOT! I did Triceps and Back with a 30 min run on the treadmill.</p>
<p>I do believe that i am becoming addicted to the Gym. I am sure many of you are in the same boat and i just realized I have been bewitched by those dumbbells, those row machines, the elipitcals..and the medicine balls ohhhhhhhh medicine balls!!!</p>
<p>..I plan my whole day around the gym..If i can t make it for some reason i feel incomplete&#8230; even when my friends cant get ahold of me, they know where im at and my voice messages sound something like this &quot; hey lu, know your at the gym&#8230;call me back&quot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&quot; lu dont even tell me, at the gym right&#8230;i need to do what your doing&#8230;call me&quot;&nbsp; and &quot; lu weren&#8217;t you at the gym this morning, addicted? i think so&quot; HeHe</p>
<p>I just hope no one tries to come btwn me and my workouts&#8230;i pity da foo!</p>
<p>What i ate today (it could be better&#8230;i&nbsp; need to go the market)<br />
meal one- 1/2c oatmeal with 1c of eggwhites</p>
<p>meal two - protein shake with WW toast and sugar free jam <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />
meal three- Tuna with and veggies</p>
<p>meal four- 4 oz chicken 1 c. brown rice &amp; 1 c. carrots&nbsp; (mmmm carrots)</p>
<p>meal five- 1 serving of muscle milk (its like my dessert )

That is the boost i need to run 6 miles today and GET BACK INTO IT!!! (not to mention the pumpkin pie i had during Thanksgiving)</p>
<p>I know many pple here fall off every now and again and some dont&#8230;.I want to admit that i have&#8230;and i want to get back on&#8230;

<div class="entry">So i get the package i open it up get a tube of stuff..and read my invoice..tell me why these pple sent me a letter saying welcome to our members club and i would be getting more shipments as a member for only 30 dollars a month…ohh h@ll no…   i only signed up for the FREE samples..the funny thing about it was they sent a letter saying they werent those &#8220;scrupulous&#8221; companies that just automatically enroll you in a club with out your knowledge and THATS EXAACTLY WHAT THEY DID!! I had to call them up real fast &amp; get that straight…i told them that yes they are those scrupulous companies and to stop lying and misleading folks and to not send me another thing AND to leave my credit card alone…man serves them right.. i just wanted somethin free….Im beginning to believe that nothing in this life is lol!</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have never been the one to really question what i ate. my mentality for a while was &quot;i can eat what i want&quot; and i ate whatever i wanted so much that my cholesterol was a Whopping 240 in my early 20&#8217;s..bagels cookies esp cookies..didnt want to say no..i did stay active somewhat so my weight did not increase a lot but i did start to develop the chubbs and handles -you&#8217;ve seen the progress pics:-p So my doctor always warned me about family history and so forth but me being young and thinking there is always tomorrow i didnt try to rectify this&#8230;fast forward to the present day..since my desire to start competing next year..I have benefited so much from this change and since its only been about 6months since the switch and i havent been eating clean 100% I still felt better than ever&#8230;so when i had a doctors apt..it dawned on me that i havent had my cholest. and glucose checked so i did the whole fasting thing and had blood drawn..<br />
The Results are in;</p>
<p>cholest. total= 166 (remember i was always in the 240&#8217;s)</p>
<p>triglycerides= 36&nbsp; (the lower the better)</p>
<p>HDL=68 (happy cholesterol the higher the better)<br />
LDL= 91 (loser cholesterol under 130 is ideal)</p>
<p>and to add my blood sugar was at 81 <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />
I am so glad to receive this news..i refuse to believe I am doomed to be obese suffering from CAD, HTN, and diabetes simply b/c genetics say so&#8230;I couldnt be happier..I hope this serves as an inspiration more than my&nbsp; progress pictures.&nbsp; So keep eating that oatmeal&#8230;keep sucking down that tuna and chicken&#8230;and the flax yams etc etc.. you will reap the benefits:)
