i was eating around 1700-1900 calories a day.  because my weight is going no where and i’m feeling bloated, i’m moving down to 1500-1700 a day.  hopefully this will push my body to shed some fat.

i’m working out about 5-6 days a week 25-60 minutes a day.  i’m usually doing body weight exercises, a medicine ball routine, and every other day trying to get some running in if possible.

my diet is very clean and i eat plenty of veggies and some fruit everyday.
i will get to a normal b.m.i. weight.  i will get ripped.  i’m not giving up.  i will reach my goals.

i’m on a plain.

or a plateau.  i need to change something as i really didn’t lose much in the last week.  maybe a 1/2 lb. but that could just be water weight.  i need to keep my focus and keep going.

pull-ups.

i’m up to 2 pull-ups now.  when i started a few weeks ago i couldn’t do any.  my goal is to reach 10 pull-ups consecutively.

i’m feeling my abs in ways i haven’t before. the workouts with the ball just feel more "natural" than dumbbell exercises, probably because there is more movement and multiple muscle groups being use.

my next purchase will be a kettlebell to reward myself when i hit 200 lbs.  can anyone tell me what kettlebell weight they started at?  i use 40-50 lb. dumbells now.

15 lb. ball

it felt goooooooooooooooooood. i almost feel like i should have started with a 10 lb. ball, but i think i can handle it.

i’m getting over an allergic reaction right now.  i got hives from trimming the bushes around my house.

do work!

I am no longer obese.

I have reached a major goal in my quest to become healthy.  I am now considered overweight instead of obese if using the B.M.I. weight chart.  It has been over 10 years since I was last at this weight.

Let the hard work begin!

i’m looking to take my training to different places.  i’m incorporating a lot of body weight exercises and pull ups.  in a few days i will have a 15 lb. rubberized medicine ball to play around with.  i’m really excited about the possibilities it will offer.

i’ve been adding in more jogging lately.  it’s been so nice outside.  i got a run in on the beach and a few around my neighborhood.  my cardio has always been lacking, so i’m trying to change that.

i’m 1 lb. away from being overweight on the b.m.i. chart and getting rid of the obese label forever!

before you read any further, please understand this will include a topic which is kinda gross.  so i used to go to gold’s gym.  the bathroom there was always clean…except for the men’s bathroom stalls.  it always looked like people were exploding in there.  there was always a spray of feces left on the toilet or other places.  my guess was that it was some of the men that were taking steroids or throwing tons of supplements in their systems prior to workout.  has anyone else noticed this at their gym or is it just gold’s?  does anybody have a guess to why this was happening?  sorry to even bring this up, but i’ve always wondered what was going on.
