Nutrition is my hardest part as well. It is hard to stay on track. I have trouble b/c my son likes his snacks and chips as does my fiance so we keep them around the house which I think makes it harder to stay away from when I see it. If my fiance brings in food I know I can't stay away from I tell him to hide it. Haha. I know that sounds funny but he does. Mostly it's chocolate things he hides, I LOVE chocolate! He gets it out for my son and him once in awhile and I still have no idea where he keeps some sweets, I don't search for them either. This has helped me alittle bit b/c if I can see it it's harder to not eat, especially when I am stressed!

I know the feeling it is so easy just to give in to old habits. But if you can just force yourself to workout on those stressful days the payoff is fantastic. Not only did you not give in and then feel guilty about it. Most of time you train even harder and the stress just goes away. Just think we never say gee I wish I hadn't worked out today. But how often do we say I sure wish I hadn't eaten all that junk.
Take care and train hard you body and mind will thank you for it. Keith

You are doing great. Don't neat yourself up for what you aren't able to accomplish yet, or aren't doing well. Celebrate your accomplishments. A positive attitude will help take you beyond those goals you have set for yourself. Enjoy your journey.

I enjoy success stories and your sounds like a great one in the making. It is incredible how many times after having the second or third child women end up drained of energy and put on weight, many times quite a bit of weight and no matter what they did previously they just can’t quite seem to find that spark. Then one day, who knows what causes it, but the spark starts a small fire, which smolders and then turns into a full-blown fitness inferno.
I am happy to know that you have the fire and are feeding it with all the essentials to cause it to shape you into the body of your dreams.
Way to go.

Here's a little about me and my life. I am a wife, a mother to 3 boys, aged 10, 7, and 3yrs, and a nurse. I have always had a competitive spirit and loved fitness; however, was not always motivated, especially after having my 3rd little boy. I was busy with school, part time job and family. I just didn't want to exercise or take the time to eat healthy. With that I gained 10lbs in 2007; not a good year for me. But all of that changed a little over a month ago when I said enough is enough. I changed my bad habits and starting preparing and eating healthy foods. I also started training 6 days per week, following a routine that I've gotten my one of my Oxygen magazines, which incorporates weights, cardio, and resistance strength training. I've lost 10lbs in the past month and have really increased my energy. I'm working toward having a body for figure competitions. I know that it won't be easy but I'm determined to make it happen. Will post pictures soon of my progression. Keep and eye out for me!
