I’m ready for a change!

Actually, more like I’m in need of a change! I think that’s what I need in order to get my body to where I want it to be. I’m still going to keep my lifting to right after work and my cardio for in the evenings before work. I think Im just going to change up the days I work out each body part and also the exercises that I do. I’ve realized that while I’ve been focusing on my butt and legs I’ve been slacking on everything else!! Definitely not a good thing:( I was relying on a guy that I work with to train me, but turns out that’s not such a great idea. I’ve thought about buying a program from one of the guys on here, but at the moment money is tight. It would be nice if I had someone that could just follow me around and tell me to eat this/not that, workout this way/not like that. I do so well when someone tells me what to do! Any advice on how I should put together my workout routine would be awesome:) I’ve already recieved so much great advice from many of you, and I really appreciate it. Also, if anyone has a diet plan that they would recommend please let me know. I would really like a plan that tells me exactly what foods to be eating when. Thanks again!

After a couple weeks of feeling really sluggish and unmotivated, I finally feel that I am ready to focus on my training and achieve my goals. I had some minor setbacks (gained a couple pounds, lost some muscle) but Im ready to move on and train harder than ever. Had an awesome leg day yesterday and although I can barely walk today I am so excited. I got a bunch of the free samples from the bb store and am working on figuring out what works best for me. I’m also adjusting my lifting/cardio schedules so that I get maximum results. I can’t wait till I lose these last 10 pounds! I have been at this weight for months now and really just want to reach my goal weight. I have a feeling that if I really focus on the training and eat healthfully i should lose the weight in no time. Im ready to do it!

I want to add some supplements to my diet, but I have no idea what kinds of things I should be taking. I definitely want to start taking a fat burner. I heard Hydroxycut Max was pretty good….any other suggestions?

So, I’m definitely the kind of person that doesn’t like to wait for things…especially when it comes to results from working out. I have been consistantely working out for the a while now and am still not even close to where I would like to be body wise. It’s very frustrating:( I know that part of it has to do with my not so great eating habits and also that I don’t always put 100% into my workouts. It’s tough for me since I work night shift and am tired almost all the time. I tend to snack a lot too when I’m tired, and not on the healthiest food. I just wish I had someone by me all the time telling me exactly what to eat and what to workout…Im good at following directions, not so good at self-discipline (at least not any more). I think that I’m going to sign up for a race in April and Im hoping that will give me the motivation to get back on track with my eating and excercising. Im going to spend my days off going through the stacks of workout magazines that I have in my room and try to come up with a better routine! Wish me luck…

So, I’ve been working on tweaking my workout routine these last couple of weeks and things seem to be going well. I’ve finally found a loop that I can run in my neighborhood and I’m so excited. The loop is about 2.1 miles and is perfect for HIIT! I love living in Phoenix because everything is a grid, making it easy to come up with running loops:) I had been doing my cardio in the morning after work (I work night shift) but I found that I had too much energy afterwards and had a hard time sleeping. Now that I have this loop near my house I can run before work. I had been a little hesitant at first because it’s usually dark out when I wake up, but i figure as long as I am aware of my surroundings I should be ok. My lifting routine is going well also. I keep finding new and different exercises which helps keep the workouts interesting. I’ve been given some great advice by many of you on here and I really appreciate that. I am so happy I signed up for this site:) Now that I have a solid routine I should be seeing some good results, I hope:) I’ll be sure to keep you all posted!

I’d like to thank everyone who commented and messaged me in reference to my blog yesterday. It is good to know that not everyone feels so negatively about my pics! I’m glad that most of you realize that the pics are intended to show progress in order to get advice on how to train and not intended to show off. I just dont understand why people have to be so negative on a site that is supposed to be full of support and encouragement. I feel that if someone is happy with their progress let them be happy! Everyone on here is working their butts off to accomplish something and their is no reason to make ANYONE feel bad about themselves. If you feel that you NEED to put others down to make yourself feel better, please find another site to do it.

 With that said, thanks again everyone for the support! Bodybuilding.com rocks:)

I have been getting some nasty comments/messages about my pics lately. I just want to let everyone know that I am not here to just "show off" my ass. I am truly on here to help accomplish my fitness goals. I do post a lot of pics but that’s just because I am so happy with how things are starting to come together. I have deleted a lot of pics from my progress pic and gallery since I do realize that I may have gone a little overboard. (I just love taking pics, and no, not just of myself) I know that I am no Maxim model, but I do want to achieve the best body I can for myself:) With that said, please no more nasty comments. If you don’t like something about my page you don’t have to look at it:) I’d like to thank everyone for their helpful tips and advice and I will continue to keep you informed on my progress.

I’ve been lifting with a guy from work for the last couple of weeks and I’ve noticed some changes but not as many as I would like. I know it’s probably going to take time, but Im not the kind of person that likes to wait. Here’s my workout schedule as of right now:

Sunday- 3-4 shoulder exercises followed directly by a 3-5 mile run

Monday- 3-4 back exercises followed directly by a 3-5 mile run

Tuesday- 4-5 leg exercises in the morning and 30-40 minutes of cardio in the evening

Wednesday- 3-5 bicep and tricep exercises each in the morning and (sometimes) 30 minutes of cardio in the evening

Thursday- 4-6 mile run in the morning and 30 minutes stairmill in the evening

Friday and Saturday are my days off from work and I end up trying to get to the gym at least once on one of those days. I usually end up doing cardio and some random leg exercises. I’d love any advice on how to improve my training schedule or even just some great exercises that I should make sure that I do. I really want to burn fat and tighten up all over and I would love any and all the help I can get! Thank you! You are all AMAZING:):)
