Rounding up the first week

Hello all, I’ve been able to pop my head from my sea of stress for moments here and there. There have been a few casualties in the last man standing. I will post a chart tomorrow so we know who is still in.

My week has been crazy. One moment stressed to the gils, next moment waiting for the wave of work to come back my way.

Re my original 7 mile run last Saturday. It didn’t happen… but this past Tuesday I did run 7.25 miles! My grueling 5 mile run with the hills was changed around some. This time I ran UP a steep hill, down a long slow one, turned around and ran back up that long slow hill and back down the steep hill. My knees hurt after that venture. I am so happy I made it! I went for a short 3 miler today (that used to be my long run) and stopped at the gym to just weigh myself. It’s been some time since I’ve jumped on the scale. Last I remember I was around 137-138. I weighed in at 132. :) Yeah. Ok granted it was after a run, but still… the weight is down from before. whoopie!

That’s it for now. I have to get to work. Ugh.

NICE drop on the scale, chica! Sorry to hear that your days continue to be crazy, but it sounds like your are still managing to pump out some great workouts regardless! Running always helps me to beat those stress demons!!!

Congrats on the weight loss and good luck on the run. I have just started doing the 5k runs this week and it is crazy hard. But I have to agree that it can help relieve stress. Keep it up!
