Defluffin’ Friday
Ok, week 2 is done. I had my big cheat meal that became many… cupcake, cake, apple crisp, peanut m&ms, movie popcorn, dr. pepper, and iced skinny caramel mach… All consumed in about 2.5 hours time (I was only able to down the dr. pepper, m&ms and popcorn during a movie… indiana jones…. save your money for when it comes out as a rental)
I was planning on running yesterday but then decided to take the day off. I’m kicking myself for not running.
Today I woke up and hit the gym. Actually, I’m not sure I ever woke up. I was dragging myself through the routine. I did get through it all. I did sweat and my heart rate did increase. Worked legs and shoulders. It was an ok work out… I just wish I had more pep.
Speaking of pep. This week I have been soooo tired. Seriously! Around 9:00 am everyday my brain starts to shut off. It’s like someone in my head is turning off all the lights. I can’t concentrate! All I want to do is lie down! So, I’ve been taking a little nap after I put my girl down for hers. Boy 2 usually plays in his room or watches a pbs show. After my nap I feel refreshed. I thought working out is supposed to give me more energy! What’s the deal with that?! Is it because I’m 40?
Anyways, will post my stats tomorrow am. Once again, got busy with the kids when I got home and didn’t take pictures/measurements before I ate. If anything, I think I am about the same as last week. I did weigh myself the other day and was down 2 lbs. That’s something. Just 3 more lbs to go to hit my goal.
Still need to eat clean and keep running. I think running outside is what is helping me defluff.

Are you taking vitamins? are you anemic? It could be a number of things? Even your mattress-sounds stupid, but it could be alot! i doubt it has anything 2 do w/ your age! tell your dr. hun! That’s not good. If you don’t get a good workout in the am, could you possibly do it in the pm? or you could do a split, cardio in the am and lifting in the pm? sorry for all my questions! i’m so happy that your down a few lb’s! keep up the good work!!

Sometimes that kind of tiredness is hormonal… and might have to do with your cycle.
So many opinions and we are not doctors…so if it is worrisome, you might see one.
It is not your age. 40 is young…better be because I am 44…lol.

You know I really got a surge in energy when I totally started eating clean. I picked up Tosca Reno’s book and started making her power breakfasts and lady….about 10 am I’m like a caged tiger I got so much energy! If you don’t have her Eat Clean book or Eat Clean Cookbook I would highly recommend them. I take in zero sugar in the morning. It has really made a difference. Have a blessed week!
