Knee deep in De Nile
OK… so today is my birthday… the big 4-0! I don’t physically feel any different but my mind is swimming with the idea that I have gotten this old. Not that 40 is old, it just seems like a blur. Last I remember I was 28 and then all of a sudden happy 40th!
I got up this morning as usual and headed to the gym. As I was getting ready I got a text message from Juls saying "get ur 40 year old butt out of bed" How nice is that to get up to. As I arrived at the gym I noticed balloons. Juls had placed balloons through out the gym. Then I heard "There she is" in a loud voice. "There’s the birthday girl!" On the front table was a cake and cupcakes. Thank you Juls 
Thank goodness the gym wasn’t busy. I had a man that I did not know wish me a happy birthday and a few other members came up to me to wish me one as well. One member actually baked me an apple crisp and made me a stained glass butterfly! How nice was that! Thanks Frank!
So, trying to stay clean for most of the day since tonight I am going out with the hubby for dessert and a movie.
It’s a beautiful day today. Hope to spend some time outside.

Cupcakes and cakes??? LOL! At least your getting it all covered!!
Keep in mind…the 40s are the new 30s!! I don’t know about you, but I would rather be stuck at this age…than any other I have been through yet!!

Happ 40th birthday fellow fluffer. Sounds like you a had a nice start to your birthday. Cupcakes and apple crisp yummy. Hope you have a nice evning at the movies and a day of fun. That is so nice to be in a gym that is full of friends it makes working out so much nicer.Like a second home….
