Friday Fluff #1
Friday, May 30th, 2008This is my first bodyspace challenge. I am very excited about it but also slightly apprehensive. I tend to expect too much and get very discouraged at the end. If all had gone how I’d hoped with my BFL challenge earlier this year I would have had a 6 pack by now… the small type of "results aren’t typical" was meant for people like me. My result are very slow!
Since this is my first entry for "Fight the Fluff 6 week challenge", I need to post my start photos, goals and measurements.
My goals for this challenge:
- to eat clean for 6 weeks with 3 cheat meals (my son’s birthday, my birthday and my husband’s birthday) OK maybe 4 - July 4 fits in there. The challenge ends on July 11.
- to lose 5 lbs.—I lost 10 in 12 weeks…
- to lose an inch in the waist.
- to not get discouraged when things seem down
Here are my stats:
- waist at belly button: 33″ (stomach sucked in)
- waist 4 fingers below belly button: 32.5″
- hips: 38″
- weight: 139
Here are my starting pics. I took measurements and my pics with (sad to say) my abs tight/sucking it in. I figure that my state of relaxation varies and wouldn’t be a good way to measure progress. Besides, I look about 3 months pregnant if I didn’t.
