Chugging forward
Gotta keep going… chugga, chugga, chugga. "I think I can, I think I can, I know I can!"
These words keep going through me head when ever I have a quiet moment to think. You can get so easily consumed in working out and diet. It’s easy to surf for hours on bodybuilding, looking up articles or reading other peoples blogs, seeing how other people have transformed. When I’m not in Mom mode or at work (actually, when things slow down at work I think about it), I find myself thinking about working out, what I’m eating, how come I’m not seeing results. Then again, it’s slowly becoming second nature. My menu is simple and I’ve been doing BFL now for 5 weeks, so I know what I need to do at the gym.
Ok, enough of that… This morning at the gym I spoke with this guy Tim, who a few years ago did the Body for Life challenge. He showed me his before and after photos and it was a great transformation. I asked him when he finally started to see results and he said that it was near the end. He recalls that the middle was real tough because you didn’t see any changes in your body, but you do see progress in weights and cardio. This made me feel SOOOO much better. My lack of results is standard! Wooohooo!
So, I look forward to week 9. Hopefully by then I will really start to see something. Chugga, chugga, chugga…. I’m still moving forward.

Love,
Have fun with your fitness journey..and try not to make it a job. Also you need to develope your inner CW (Compliment Whore) thats what I use….. when someone compliments me…it Motivates me to work harder….lol
Okay I’m a self proclaimed Personal Motivator…lol I do have a Personal trainer cert…but to me thats just paper! I would say really dont get stressed on results… it really takes time to make true changes…. and they come when your are truley enjoying what you do….

LoveJones, slower results tend to mean they last longer, dont sweat it. If you looked like a biggest loser contestant (no disrespect to those guys and gals) you would be able to see changes like they do. Slow and steady and you will get there. Remember if it were fast and easy everyone would be doing it, just look at the McDonalds drive through next time you drive by, you will see what I am talking about. Stay focused, never lose faith, you got this girl. God Bless you and your family. Brian

I’m not doing BFL but I am in my middle and yes it is frustrating but keep moving forward and visualize that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Vinny
