Week 4, day 2 of the BFL Challenge

I’m 1/3 the way through. Been eating clean and my cravings for junk have subsided. Don’t get me wrong, I still long for a tiny taste when I see dark chocolate or a big ol’ chocolate chip muffin or even a slice of double chocolate cake. But I can talk myself away from them a lot easier now then before.

Still no noticeable changes (at least to me) in my body. I called EAS and complained that I hadn’t seen any changes and he said that it may be too early for me because I don’t have a lot to lose compared to others and I will most likely start seeing results around week 6 or 7. I told them what I was eating and he said that I’m doing everything right on that end. He mentioned CLA but said that I could wait to use that for a little to see if something doesn’t happen in the next couple weeks. I decided to start CLA yesterday. My only problem is remembering to take the darn thing! I took one in the am and forgot the others. Today at least I got 2 doses in. Hopefully I will remember to take one at dinner.

Today was a cardio day. Did the treadmill. I picked up my intensity. With Body for Life you do 4 intervals in 20 minutes. I’ve brought my "slower" pace up to 5 mph (previously 4 mph) and my high to 8.5 mph (previously 8) . I’ll keep increasing the speed every time I get on. Feel good running. Someone even said that I had a nice stride! I’ll take any compliment :) It’s amazing what good music can do when you’re doing cardio. It makes it so much easier!

Tomorrow is upper body. Have to figure out what I will do. I need to pick up the intensity on my weights as well. It’s tough when you don’t have a spot all the time, but I guess I can just do everything slower and still get a good workout. (I did have a workout buddy that was doing the BFL challenge too but she dropped out due to her crazy schedule)

That’s it for now. Have a happy day.
