Week 2 almost over
Did legs today and I know I will feel it tomorrow… I always do. I never really feel it as I’m working them. Did squats and superset my last set with iso leg extensions. I really felt the burn on those!!! OUCH! It’s amazing how much less weight you can bear on that as opposed to the regular leg extension machine.
So I’ve gone 2 weeks clean eating. Well, at least this past week has been very clean. Last week I had a staff party and a birthday party that I ate predominately clean, but did have some little cheats and this past sunday had beef stew with the in-laws. I made the mistake of weighing myself Monday morning and saw what damage a birthday party and dinner with the in-laws can do. So, even though BFL gives you Sunday as a free day, I plan on just making it a free meal.
My goal for these past two weeks have been to be regular at going to the gym and to eat clean. Those 2 have been accomplished. Next goal is to work on portion sizes. Unfortunately, I’ve been hungry all the time. I mean, I’ll have chix with brown rice and veggies for lunch with a whey protein shake and about an hour later I’m hungry again! So much for eating every 3 hours. I can’t make it. So starting next week i plan on working on my portions.
I have made some progress… I’ve lost a little here and a little there. So I am slightly encouraged. I keep telling myself that it is going to take time. I need to see what my body will do now that I am not nursing. I am so tempted to take fat burners, but I just need to be patient. I’ve done some research on CLA and am interested in taking that. Anyone have any experience with CLA? Has it worked for you? On paper it sounds good, but just wondered if it worked as well.
Still too embarrassed to post any pictures, but I promise I will. Have a great day all.

Congrats on your progress! I understand the frustration, but the changes will come. Stay positive, you can do this and you will feel so great, so healthy, it will become a lifestyle! I just crossed that bridge recently. Went to a work party w/hubby and left the potatoes, only protein and veggies, passed on the dessert and felt great about it all! Had a wonderful time and it wasn’t food related AT ALL!!! It will happen for you, stay strong.
