The Master Cleanse
Ok - not sure if anyone has heard of this or seen it on the tv, it’s the master cleanse. It is basically a lemonade fast. It’s detox cleanse that last 10 days. This is my third time doing it. Let me state that you should only do this cleanse for that reason, to cleanse, clean the pipes, detoxify. Weight loss is just a perk. It gets you off the junk and gives you the opportunity to start eating clean again. My first cleanse I lost 10 lbs. Normally you expect to gain around half of it back. Because I kept my diet clean, I kept losing. My second cleanse I lost 7 lbs. but stopped early because I found out I was pregnant. So here I am, doing it again. I’m on day 2. Surprised to say that I’ve lost 2.5 lbs and over in inch in the waist already. I know that its only water weight right now, but still! Sad to say that my starting stats are the same as last years at this time. The big difference is that I was 5 months pregnant! (I was rather small this pregnancy compared to my previous two and I was still working out, but still) These holidays really did a number on me, so this cleanse will get me off the junk. That is my main reason for doing this. The cleanse also gives you more energy, clear head and a clean colon

Hey Chica, I missed you and Jules!
I have been so busy with women’s ministry that I have only been on the computer for just that. Also, my back has been out of sorts, so I haven’t been in the gym in a while.
I am so happy for you and cleansing to start the year right. My friend just finished and she thanks me every day. so thank you.
I want to do it, because now I am back to eating crap (christmas I tell ya!), but I am also trying to get pregnant and my husband will flip if I cleanse. To me it makes sense to do it now, and clean my body for baby, but I don’t know. maybe I am just over exagerrating the christmas eating and I am not that bad.
I do miss the gym though. I am seeing a chiropractor today, so hopefully that helps.

Good luck on the cleanse. I tried it back before the holidays. I really liked it, but I only did it for about four days. It did make me feel better though.

So, how’s the cleanse going? I myself haven’t the willpower for it…honestly, I have never stuck to a diet for more than 2 days! Man I’m weak!!! I hope it’s going good for you though and that you can get that jump start you are looking for. Keep going, you’ll get there!
