Monday - Day 8
Lunch - Chicken breasts and Doritos with XS Energy Drink
20mins Cardio (per the program) on elliptical.
Averaged 5.5mph, 1.6miles, burned 209 calories, heart rate 146bpm
I feel like I’m getting a LOT better with the cardio (bearing in mind that I was a couch potato just a week ago).
Dinner - three pork chops and serving of corn
Workout
Suppose to be working chest, triceps, and abs (three sets of 15 reps, 1min rest between reps)
Preworkout - Glutamine (about an hour before)
7mins cardio warm up
Military press - Tried 50lbs, couldn’t get to 15reps on the third set, try 40lbs next time
Vertical Bench Press (shoulder press) (upper handles) - Tried 60lbs, perfect
Butterflies - Tried 60lbs, perfect go to 70lbs
Standing tricep extensions - Tried 50lbs, too much… go to 40lbs
Stomach curls - Tried 50lbs, fairly easy… go to 60lbs
7mins cardio cool off
I really like that work out!
Immediately following workout, I had a Muscle Milk shake with Creatine and multivitamins
Will have MHP shake before bed.
