Cardio today!!!

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

Whoooo hooo!

Not that I am excited about cardio or anything, but I thought I wasn’t going to be able to fit it in.  Turns out bf’s parents won’t be in the area until later, so I am going to work out after work.

I am really tired today.  Had to get up early for work because I had to get a lot together.  I am going shopping with my boyfriend’s parents and we will probably go out to eat and everything.  So an afternoon of shopping and everything.  But I had to have enough stuff to make it through 9am to probably 8 pm.  You know, food, clothes, make up (and my face is breaking out like crazy).  Ugh.  Anytime my face is horribly broken out, I feel like poo.  Haha.  Not really, but it sucks.  Back to the pill- it is always a face clearer.  I just don’t want to be bloaty, etc on it.  I hate it!

I have an addiction- fitness books.  I have to stop ordering them.  I mean, I am spending way too much money on them, when the money should be going to whey.  And I really need a casein blend right now. :p  I need to post pics too… now I just need some camera batteries.

Well, today I have eaten clean so far.  I still plan to somehow the rest of the day.  I won’t post macros because I am not tracking them today.  :)   Have a good Saturday all!

Yesterday’s Diet!

Friday, June 29th, 2007

M1: 1/3c Oats; 6 oz milk, Whey

M2: Blended drink- 1 apple, spinach, some pineapple, celery, 1/4 avocado- all with ice- it is really good.  I juiced the apple, spinach, pineapple and celery, but I still use the pulp because that’s where all the fiber is!

M3: 6 almonds, Salmon with 1 egg and wheat bran grilled; 1/3c oats

M4:1/2c egg whites with grilled peppers and onion; 1/8c cheese

M5: 4 oz milk; whey; small cup cottage cheese

M6: 1/2c egg whites grilled with peppers and onion; 1/8c cheese; 6g Coconut oil

It will not stop raining!

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

Well here in Texas, this time of year is usually drought season.  And I haven’t seen the sun in 2 weeks.  I just  want a tan!  :(

It has been a busy two weeks.  School is about to be finishing up.  Then I start another session.  UGH!

Training today:
AM cardio this morning with BCAAs- 19 mins was interval training really hard.  I finished up to 25 mins at a moderate pace

I had a shake with oats after cardio and went back and did weights.  I did the afterburn day 1 again.  (Random order)
Squat
Step up
T-push ups
Seated row
Crunches on Stability ball
Curl up feet on stability ball

Tomorrow I am aiming for a 45 min cardio in the morning.  I should try a low carb day.  Today will end up being moderate carbs.  I will post nutrition today (it has been a good day) ;)    I am going to mark the days on my calendar that I train and eat perfectly clean.  I need more of a visual to see where I am screwing up or how many days I actually eat clean.  Sometimes I think I am working off my butt, but I am no where near working off my butt.  So the goal is to see some of that butt worked off! (not quite literally though)

;)

Tuesday workout

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

Hey everyone!  I am starting Afterburn.  I wanted a program I could follow and a lot of people recommended this so I got it!  I won’t give out his reps, sets, or tempo.  It is a circuit style routine though.

Day 1- Week 1
Squat
Step up
T-push ups
Seated row to neck
Crunches
Roll up (laying on back, knees bent, curling spine up and coming back down)

-  Later is cardio- probably 45 minutes.  This week I am upping it before an event Saturday.  I will be in a bikini :)   Maybe…

Getting Better

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

Well, last time I posted I was in the frustrated mood.  You know the mood- the one where you feel like you are getting no where and you are working your ass off.  BUT, sometimes if you sit back and think about it- how hard are you really working?  How clean are you really eating?  Sometimes I give myself too much credit thinking I am completely consistent with my diet and training and in fact, I’m not.   So I am cleaning up my eating and I think I am seeing a change in my abs.  I have dropped almost an inch from my waist, so I must be doing something right.

And in other news, my cramps are killing me!  Have a good day everybody!
